Terrible service with a hostess who has no common sense. Waited ~50 minutes for seating after leaving our name on the list and came back a couple times to check as we were excited to eat here. Hostess could not even provide a rough time estimate each time we checked. Hostess then called finally but the call failed so we walked back in within 2 minutes of the phone call. She gave our table away but the next customers on the list aren’t even there and said because we didn’t pick up 2 minutes ago she can’t give our table back despite it being empty with no customers next in line there. Ridiculous that you know a customer is waiting for close to an hour and has dropped by a couple times to check and you don’t even attempt to call a 2nd time after a call fail or text before giving the table away within 2 minutes.

Food was amazing - try their rolls, they won't dissapoint. Free miso soup and yuzu tea was a hit! Liked the atmosphere, music was good but super loud, which I like, but others may not. The vibe really reminded me of small bars in Tokyo or Osaka. Come for delicious, authentic Japanese food that won't dissapoint.

Great food, cramp quarters and low seat count, makes this the place to hit when you can. The fish is the star, presented well visually, fresh and well cut to make it textually melt in your mouth. Surprise hit was the pasta, not what I would have expected, but definitely paired well.

It was my first time coming here for lunch and I had a wonderful experience!
Although the shop is quite small with less seating. But since we went for lunch on a weekday it wasn't busy, so there wasn't a wait at all.
I was craving sushi and decided to get their nigiri platter which was divine and fresh. The uni pasta was delicious as well, just make sure you eat it fast while its hot, or it'll get very thick in texture.
The grape soda had a perfect amount of sweetness and was very refreshing as well!
Right before we left the restaurant, the worker gave us a nice and thoughtful yuzu hot honey tea. What a great way to end our meal for sure !

Nice selection of fish for sashimi and nigiri compared to the average sushi place. They have various tuna cuts and grades of toro. The Chirashi Zushi Don was colourful and had good sized cubed assorted sashimi. Tasty.

I was very dissatisfied with the food considering the rating it had. We got California rolls and a Mt. Salmon roll, which were all very mushy and unpalatable. The only good things were the ice, the miso soup and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Don’t come here if you want your money’s worth.
