Overall, my experience at Monarca was fantastic. The ambiance was inviting, and the service was attentive throughout. However, I must admit that the parrilla for 2 left something to be desired. While it was adequate, it paled in comparison to the other dishes offered. On the bright side, the cocktails were absolutely delightful, and the starter dishes were a delightful introduction to the meal. I would definitely recommend Monarca for its ambiance, service, and delicious cocktails, but perhaps explore other options on the menu for a more satisfying main course.

This was a disappointing visit considering this was on my list for friends and families to dine in. I had came here with out of town guests many times in the past. Unfortunately, the experience from the point of check in to dining was not great. Parking was an issue. Direction from 2 different hostesses were missing leading. Maria was a good server for our table. I had requested a quiet table but the table next to us was extremely loud and sounded like they were drunk for a birthday party. My guests and I were yelling at each other as we cannot hear due to the noise level. The food quality has gone down since my last visit. Steak was not medium rare. Pork belly was over cooked. Octopus was over cooked. This was a disappointing visit.

Our server was terrible though.Basic service courtesies were lacking - felt like our table was ignored all night; in fact, the gentleman who would bring us our food from the kitchen was more kind, and more of a server to us that our actual server.I felt our server was pushy, made cost-biased recommendations and was constantly upselling. When we didn’t entertain it, it seemed we were disregarded. When he came back between dinner and dessert, he immediately suggested top shelf tequila flights in another upsell attempt.I understand this is a business, and that servers need to earn a living, but this was overkill and frankly irritating.I will definitely be returning for the food as it is very good. Hopefully this experience with our server is not common practice by all here.

We were asked to leave after 2 hours. Our party wanted to stay for drinks and there were 3 open tables around us. We will probably not go back with a large party due to time restrictions. Service was very good but restaurant policy is not.

Good place for a night out. The food was pretty good, the steak with cheese was quite different. The service did get really sluggish at the end after we finished our meals however.

Nice place, but some waiters since the beginning told us that we can stay there just for 2 hours, we reserved for a dinner and for me is unbelievable because you are not going to be rushing and eating fast and go !The food is good.The prices are not to bad.

Came here to celebrate my birthday and I absolutely loved the food! They were definitely understaffed which kind of dampened the night…as well they knew it was my birthday but didn’t even add any nice touches to the dessert that was brought out. Never experienced that at a restaurant.Anyhow, still great food and drinks. Can’t wait to come back again.
