Moon Cafe 月明堏 - Hong Kong Style Restaurant

My partner and i would go there, and the staff would recognize us, it felt so warm. We loved the mango pudding, and so many other dishes. Probably one of the best HK restaurants in Vancouver.Please let us know if there's any chance of reopening or maybe a youtube channel sharing recipes.

One of the quintessential treasures of Vancouver. From breakfast to dinner this place delivered. Cora was amazing and friendly. The beef noodle was so tasty and even their take out was always delicious.

Our absolute favourite Hong Kong style cafe in Vancouver. We are so SO SAD to find out it is now closed and that we never got a chance to say goodbye. We were here nearly every week in the summer and have never had a bad meal. Their baked pork chop on rice, beef curry and sweet and sour soup were staples in our rotation. Came in for dinner and was surprised how large the portion is, not to mention the quality of the dishes - very authentic Cantonese.My dining partners raved about their lunch menu which is supposed to be very tasty and affordable.The serving ladies are very friendly and food comes out quickly.Will definitely come back to try the rest of their menu.

My husband and I went here for the first time last week on the Saturday evening and there wasn't many customers which we found surprising considering the food was good and the staff were really friendly and attentive. It was really good value considering the portion sizes are big! I got the baked fish in cream corn with rice and it was super yum. My husband got the baked spaghetti and he throughly enjoyed that too. We will definitely be back and we hope business will pick up for this restaurant.
