Had the best service here yesterday when I ordered a lemon bar (DELICIOUS!) and a nice hot coffee. Should’ve gotten the oatmeal cookies!

Moore's Bakery is beyond amazing! It is a classic staple in the city and a must go-to. I grew up with their treats and savouries and crave them all the time since I moved. The sausage rolls, cinnamon buns, lady fingers, sugar cookies, and chicken pot pies are my absolute favourite. I have not been able to find another bakery with as good sausage rolls, perfection! Anytime I am back in town we visit and stock up. Anytime someone comes to visit us from the coast they bring up their baked goods or send a care package of their must-haves. They are that good! Moore's Bakery will live rent free in your mind in the best of ways! Go treat yourself with their amazing baked goods and personable service!

Delicious cakes, cookies and lots of gluten-free options as well! Always worth a visit.

I was at Moore's today. New ownership in the past few years? The Eccles cakes are tough and the raison mixture inside them has a burnt flavour and smell. They are simply NOT the excellent quality they once were. They look, feel, and taste like the pastry chef's country of origin is not Canada and that he/she is attempting to make a pasty the way one's English Canadian grandmother would but is failing miserably at it. What happened to Moore's? The quality is bad compared to what it was a few years ago! Barely good enough is NOT good enough! Try harder.

I was so excited to try this bakery today as I’m always on the hunt for a proper European bakery! The bird nest cookie was fresh and very good totally worth the price. Unfortunately the Orange chiffon cake was absolutely disappointing. It was very tiny and I didn’t mind paying $28 but it was lacklustre.

Best bakery in Vancouver. They had some of the yummiest cookies i’ve had so far. The cookies were delicious, had a homemade tinge and tasted so pure and organic. The atmosphere was great. The staff was sweet and friendly. 10/10 recommended ??

Was so excited to finally go to this place today. Major disappointment.Ordered 6 Unicorn cookies 1 Lemon bar and a ham and cheese croissantAll of this was 29.00 The croissant was not flaky it was hollow like rolled bread could see a piece of miniscule ham certainly NO CHEESE to speak of. The Lemon bar tasted dense and like it had been there for over a week quickly threw it out.The Unicorn cookies are very cute and well iced, they are a gift so no comment on those. For these prices I would expect better. Not sure if I would ever return.

Growing up in Kerrisdale, Moores was a staple for great treats. My dad used to bring home a loaf of the cheese bread or lemon meringue pie on Saturdays. I've since moved to Nova Scotia which has few bakeries anywhere, none compare to what I loved back home. Luckily, my sister sends Moores' oatmeal & chocolate chip cookies by mail on special occasions. Good sister.
