Just went in for a quick snack between the two of us. One Torta was enough for sure, super fresh and delicious. We will definitely come back when they are at the new location.
Excellent service from the owner and the food was incredible! The prices are very competitive and with a huge portion. I will definitely be returning in the near future.

An actual hidden gem ?Such good food I forgot to take a picture diving in. Great prices too! My partner got the veggie quesadilla which was huge and only $12. I got two tacos which were on the smaller side so I’d recommend 3-4 at least if you’re hungry. The hot sauces were also very tasty.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options

Best Mexican food in the city!! These fine people make their bread from scratch, their Tortas are incredible. Good serving size, good value, excellent flavour. Bell done to the people at Mr. Churro. You haven't cut corners and the flavour speaks for itself.

Noticed this restaurant while driving by late one night. I’m always intrigued by restaurants tucked away in odd and forgotten spots and this was no exception. Came with a friend for lunch today and ordered a selection of tacos, a burrito, churros and a couple coffees. All very good.The restaurant is very clean and bright but somewhat sterile. There is some decoration but it could use some more to warm up the space.I’m unsure if Mr. Churro is a chain but I feel the name is really misleading. Although the churros were fine, the savory food was excellent and should be the focus of the restaurant. Very reasonably priced too!

Hidden Mexican gem in East Hastings. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Tacos were good but different from the tacos I usually get, and have more of a homemade taste, sauce was not too spicy. Their horchata and tamarind water is delicious. Giving four stars because the churros were not crunchy but rather soft and made us think they were uncooked, they tasted like soft dough. However, I would definitely come again to try more things from their menu!

Outstanding burrito at a good price! Lunch might be busy if you show up and all the construction workers across the street show up, but definitely still go. 100% going back to try other menu items when I can. One improvment to be made; salsa mas piquante! Bring the heat!Edit: their menu is now expanded from what is shown on Google.
