First time to try this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised.
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE from GINA and impressive beautiful ambiance and interior. They have comfortable couches for bigger groups and families.
We went for lunch and they offer lunch special and discount for the broken rice meal.

Gina is so pleasant, and playful to my baby.. which is really appreciated because it’s so rare to have a kid/family friendly restaurant in Vancouver. She was so nice to even give us a complimentary desserts 🥰

Will come back and tell our friends for sure.

A fantastic dining experience that really delivered on both food and service. The restaurant is very nice, with welcoming Asian décor that immediately sets the tone and reflects the cuisine beautifully. We ordered the chili crab, tamarind fish, sambal prawns, and pork hock, and every single dish was absolutely delicious and expertly prepared, with bold, well-balanced flavors across the board.
The service was truly excellent—warm, attentive, and thoughtful throughout the meal. We brought our own cake and the staff kindly lit the candle and played a birthday song, which was very much appreciated and showed a genuine level of care. This is a place that clearly values its guests. Highly recommended, and definitely somewhere I’d love to return to.

Took my father out for his birthday to a nice restaurant. The salted egg crab was delicious, and the pork hock was crispy and full of flavor. We really enjoyed the meal and will definitely come back again!

First off...service was amazing! Thank you for taking care of us from beginning to end. We didn't have to ask for anything, you filled our water (hot and cold), you changed are plates at the right time, you helped separate the fish meat from the bone and checked if we needed anything at the right times. My uncle enjoyed his birthday dinner and so did we! We ordered chili crab, spring rolls, wings, Thai fried rice, pineapple fried rice, roti, tamarind fish, stir fried veggies, clay pot fish, pork hock and pepper chicken. All very yummy! We lucked out on the birthday promotion.

Will definitely be coming again!

Food was excellent! We celebrated a birthday and had dinner family style in the center of the restaurant. GOOD portions and delicious. The two waitresses were so kind . Excellent service! Will recommend to our friends and be back soon.

We had a great experience at @muingogai.restaurant. The signature Singapore chilli crab was outstanding — flavourful, rich, and perfectly balanced. The sauce was so good we ordered extra deep-fried mantou just to finish it.
The beef noodle was also excellent — hearty, comforting, and very satisfying. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, making it a pleasant place to dine and take photos.
They also have great promotions in January and February: you get a discount based on your age for the whole table, and if it’s not your birthday, there’s a deal for a second medium crab at $19.90.
Highly recommend for chilli crab lovers and anyone looking for good food with a nice atmosphere

I’m quite blown away by Mui Ngo Gai. From the dishes to the staff, everything was spectacular. Initially, when you step into the restaurant, you are taken back to the 50s-60s - the interior reminds me of what you’d see in a bar during those days.

Moving onto the menu, it had a wide selection from surf to turf. Warning: do not let the images deceive you. We thought the portions did not do the menu any justice, needless to say, we were very well fed.

Thank you to the staff for exceptional service and kindness, it made the meal feel very at home.

We went here for mum's birthday dinner because of the promotion, but after tonight we will gladly pay full price! Food was delicious, the atmosphere was fantastic and service was warm and attentive. The spicy crab and deep fried ham hock were our favourite, definitely worth a try!

I visited for lunch and tried their lunch specials — the Cran Tomato Noodle and the Seafood Tom Yum Noodle — and both were incredibly tasty. The flavours were rich, fresh, and beautifully balanced, and the portions were generous. It was also very economical and great value for the quality of food. I really enjoyed my meal and would happily come back to try more items from the menu. Highly recommend!
