My love for JJBean coffee just got better with Neate Donuts. Found this hidden gem while at a meeting across the street at the Guinness Tower.
Service was fast and friendly. Donuts were amazingly fresh and soft. Going to be hanging out at Neate instead of JJBean on Alberni & Bute. Only because now there’s these amazing yeast donuts. 😋👍⭐️

Reaaallly good eggs Benedict donut! Did not know what to expect as far as texture and flavor but both were on point. I also had a Passionfruit curd donut that was delicious the sugar covering the donut added a nice subtle crunch to the super smooth passionfruit curd! The curd was the perfect balance and creamy and tart! Also the London fog and latte was very good too!!

I don’t mean this hyperbolically, the passion fruit curd donut was the best I’ve ever had in my life. My husband’s Boston cream was the best he’s ever had. In four days in Vancouver we went three times. The donuts don’t make me feel gross and greasy after eating. Amazing.

I love this place, from the friendly and efficient service, to the Superb(!) Donuts! The Strawberry shortcake flavoured one especially, though the others are great too. And the coffee was well made too.
All out 5 stars from these folks. The apple fritters, to die for. Boston cream, so good. And the Strawberry Shortcake, in my wife's words, divine. 10 out of 10 and will be back for more! I need to try some of the savoury options.

I purchased an assortment of donuts last weekend. I was a bit disappointed that their Dubai Chocolate flavor was a specialty item. They stopped making it. I hope they'll bring it back! The donuts were for a family get-together. Obviously, I wasn't privy to tasting every single flavor. But I tried the Boston Cream and Double Chocolate. Real delicious! Can I also say, Asian sweetness approved? The donuts are super fresh. I'll have to return when the craving strikes again.

JJ Bean x Doughnuts on west Hastings!! We tried Benny & the donut, which was like an egg Benny in donut. It was delicious with a soft boiled egg and smoked meat inside fried dough, though it was more like pirozhki than donut. We also tried old fashioned glazed and classic glazed and both were very good, fresh and tasty.
