The quality of the food is declining, unfortunately. The location is very convenient. The congee was a downer.

Big and grand. Food is average but the deals are solid. Free parking if you park at their stalls. Some dishes are amazing, others are standard. Service is attentive.

This was my second visit, and it will definitely be the last. The service was terrible. No help with packing leftovers, no attention, nothing. After I already paid the bill, I asked the server for a bag, and she demanded one dollar for it. This is ridiculous. On my first visit, another server packed everything for us without charging, and even this time, when we asked another server in English, he gave us a bag immediately and for free. The difference in attitude is shocking. The server who tried to charge me only deserves a one-dollar tip—nothing more. Completely disappointing and unprofessional.

The Donald Duck pudding is delicious!
We had a fantastic dim sum experience about a year ago at a different location, which was helped by having a large group of 20—plenty of dishes to sample. This time, it was just the three of us, so we kept it light with six dishes. Unfortunately, the Thai-style chicken feet didn’t go over well with the family—the strong vinegar flavor and unusual texture were a far cry from the traditional braised and steamed version that’s typically tender and flavorful. That said, the rest of the dishes were enjoyable and tasted freshly made, which definitely elevated the overall quality.
Prices are noticeably higher than what we’re used to in Seattle, though we haven’t tried other spots in the area yet. That said, the portion sizes here are nearly double, which helps justify the cost. Service didn’t quite match the upscale feel of the restaurant, but we didn’t encounter any issues. And even without a reservation, we were seated right away.
Note on my rating scale: Sharing this for transparency, as I recognize that a 3-star review may be misinterpreted as reflecting a mediocre experience.
5 stars – Exceptional: Outstanding food, service, and/or overall experience. Truly worth going out of your way for. (For example, we frequently make the drive from San Antonio to Austin just for Uchi.)
4 stars – Very Good: Exceeds expectations in quality, service, or ambiance.
3 stars – Good: A solid experience that meets expectations. I consider any place with 3 stars or above worthy of a return visit.
2 stars – Disappointing: Falls short in food quality or service.
1 star – Poor: Not recommended.

Good atmosphere, quality food but a bit pricey and excellent service. Should know that free parking for 90 minutes at level P2, don't buy ticket but register in the restaurant instead. We didn't know that and it costed us extra $5.
