90-min time slot for each seating. They offer four different tea set with unlimited tea refill. Instead of having the tea leaves served in the tea pot, the chosen tea is premade at the counter and pour to the tea pot to bring to table. The savoury items are better than the sweet ones. The fig and prosciutto croissant tastes even better than tea set items. If we are to visit again we will not order the tea set again.
As we book the 3:30pm seating, the server notified us last call for tea at 4:30pm and reminded us the shop will close at 4:50pm. While it might be normal to have a set tea time, in view of the slow economy, and the restaurant is more than half empty, not really sure if it’s best practice. Not likely to visit again.
Sweet charming and not your typical high tea great place to have an experience definitely make a reservation and go
If your looking to host at a high tea place, this is a great place. The decor is lovely and the presentation is flawless.
If your a member from the Arbutus club, you'll see alot of regulars here. Prices are a touch high but your definitely paying for the environment and service.
Plenty of parking outside. There is a nice variety of teas here.
We loved the Neverland Tea Room.
I had high tea, and my husband had the bacon and Brie sandwich. The food was all delicious, and our server was lovely.
The tearoom itself is beautifully decorated.
We’ve been here twice for the afternoon tea menu, and always an enjoyable experience. They have a huge selection of teas that you can switch to between pots. The food is perfectly portioned for an extended lunch while enjoying their selection of teas. I tend to like the savoury selections since I don’t eat sweets often but are delicious nonetheless.
Service is friendly and accommodating. My teapot was never empty for very long before our server came to offer a refill.
Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to try an afternoon tea experience.
The restaurant venue was most disappointing, needs a major facelift. The seasonal “traditional” high tea selection was 👎👎. Not having any colas or other soft drinks was strange & not having sugar substitutes for our tea was almost unbelievable. The one positive was the fine service received from our waitress. Would not recommend this restaurant!!
I went here to visit with a friend this morning, and I found the high tea to be disappointing. They’re currently doing an Italian summer theme which is why they have some menu items that are not typical of a high tea (ie. a meatball). The savoury items were very tasty on the Italian summer theme menu, however I did not love the pastries. I’ve been to high tea before so I guess my expectation for the food is just higher. The desserts/scones on this menu seemed like store-bought items and they lacked the freshness that I would expect from high tea, the scones were hard and dry and looked like they were from Costco.
Updated review: Ever since leaving my review I was followed on instagram by a random account who dm’d me hateful and racist comments. I’ve included a screenshot.
We love high tea, and it is usually done well - but this is Neverland's speciality! They have a broad selection of teas, all perfectly brewed. There are several options for food, which are all tasty and elegantly presented.
This is the best high tea I have had, and I will be back again.
Wonderful experience! Nice vibe!
I went yesterday with my sister for the Summer in Italy high tea. With regards to the food, there were a few stand outs. I really enjoyed the scone with the house-made strawberry jam, the lemon mascarpone cake, and the basil pesto chicken salad sandwich. The cream in the peachy pangopup choux was nice but the choux itself was disappointing. Unfortunately, the other food either didn't stand out or was a disappointment.
The highlight of the high tea should have been the unlimited teas we could try. It's too bad that the service falls short in this department. While I could understand if they were experiencing rush hour (we booked sunday at 2, which could have still been the lunch rush, maybe?) but my sister said she had seen the place busier and hadn't experienced such low quality service before. In the amount of time I spent waiting for a waitress, I really could have finished another pot or two of tea. We even had a waitress come by to take our empty dishes, and when I tried to order more tea, tell me she'd just put the dishes away and come right back. No problem, except she put the dishes away and went to chat with another waitress.
Really, the place itself was gorgeously decorated, the teacups are really pretty, the tea itself is great, and it should've been an enjoyable experience, but my frustration with the service makes me unable to recommend this place. If you really have/want to go, I would recommend ordering maybe 2 teas at a time (as long as you can finish it). And be willing to go up the the waitresses and the counter to ask for more tea.

Very disappointed in the experience. The teas were fantastic however the service and food were not what you would hope for.
I visited Neverland Tea Salon on June 7, 2025. It was my first time visiting.
The decor is great, very charming.
I liked that I could try different teas and that they accommodate vegetarian, gluten free and vegan diets.
For the price, the food was disappointing. If you're a foodie, don't go. There isn't anything elevated for the experience.
Unfortunately service was also not great. My friend had to ask three times for someone to bring honey. We had to get up to ask for more tea. Its one thing if staff is busy, its another when they are huddled talking together or on their phones.
However service came alive when we were reminded 4 times that our seating was for only 1.5 hours. We were told 30 mins left, 20 mins left, 15 mins left and 10 mins left when we were trying to pay.
High Tea is supposed to be relaxed and slower paced. Having people trying to herd you out is does not give that vibe.
I absolutely adored this place! The food was delicious and fresh, and had many unique flavours that were so fun to enjoy. I had the Easter high tea and I could tell all the items included were made extremely well and of very high quality ingredients. The teas were also phenomenal with lots of variety and different flavour profiles.
IMPORTANT INFO : I did take off a star because they have a very very strict 1.5 hour time limit, and at 1 hour you’re already being reminded by the server you have 30 minutes left and continued to be rushed a few more times after that. Our server brought us the bill while we were still in the middle of visibly eating and drinking our tea and asked if we wanted any to go containers basically telling us to leave, which was awkward lol. I personally don’t like to feel rushed while dining as it gives me anxiety and kind of ruins the experience for me, especially a dining experience with a higher price point like this one. I feel a 2 hour time limit would have been just right, and we wouldn’t have left feeling rushed. For the price you pay, I think that would be extremely fair.
This is just something to keep in mind when dining here if feeling rushed isn’t your thing or if it is a deciding factor for you, this place is great aside from this fact though and the servers are very attentive and kind.
I would make this place my regular go to if the seating limit was changed to 2 hours! Lovely place.
Great cherry blossom decor they have 🌸
