Spent Valentine's Day for dinner and the mood and setting were really nice, service was friendly and the food was really good. Definitely go for the Unagi Omelette and Snow Crab and Mentaiko Yakiudon, highly recommend! :)

Would recommend their Fuji Gozen lunch set that comes with the truffle Wagyu cream udon. Absolutely delicious and full of creamy goodness. The battera sushi is also extremely tasty and the rice is very good quality.
The decor and atmosphere is very cozy and retro. Would definitely recommend a visit to this cute restaurant.

Because I've had so many good experiences, I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. To be considerate, I called ahead to ask if it was okay to bring a birthday cake, since I know some places don't allow outside food. I was told on the phone that it would be fine. Unfortunately, once we arrived, the experience didn't feel very welcoming. Instead of feeling celebrated, it felt like having a birthday there was more of a hassle for the staff. I was also told in person that outside food isn't actually allowed, which was completely different from what I was told on the phone. I understand and respect restaurant policies, but the mixed messaging and the attitude really took away from what should have been a special birthday. I hope this helps improve communication so future guests don't go through the same thing.

Sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Food was fantastic, well priced and service was quick and efficient. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for above average food quality. Pricewise, if you are a couple going to get an appetizer, a few share plates (3-6), drinks and dessert you are looking at $150-200 for the full experience-a little more if you like the pricier drinks. Would definitely recommend for a high-end Japanese style date night.

The atmosphere was lively! The food was great, but the drinks were just okay—not enough carbonation. On weekends, reservations are recommended because it gets very busy. Paid street parking is available, but it can be a bit of a hassle to find a spot since it’s a busy area with lots of shops.
