New India Buffet + Bar & Restaurant

Food is not authentic and mid. Still edible but not enjoyable. But the mango milkshake is ok.

I ordered the paneer off of a food delivery app and the food was that of a hate crime.

The paneer was so salty it was as if the top of the salt shaker came off when they were shaking it. It was inedible, I had to water it down.

I then found a a decent siezed piece of plastic wrapping inside my food. This was after I had got it boiling with the water I added, so I'm unsure whether some of it melted into the food.

All this cost me like 20 bucks.

Does anyone know if they reopen somewhere else?

Edit: Good riddance. I knew this place would close up sooner rather than later. I've been a patron here for over 20 years.

This restaurant used to be much better under their previous owner and at their original location. The food quality and variety suffered tremendously since the current owner took over and moved to this location.

Their lunch and dinner buffets were barely edible. They charged around the same price as Tandoori Flame that offers arguably the best Indian buffet in BC. I'm glad this will be rebuilt into something more useful.

Original post: Please don't eat here. The buffet resembles nothing like authentic Indian food. The quality is borderline garbage.

I ordered my food online, it was one of worst food I had. I mention on my order instructions not to make it spicy but guess what? It was spicy.

And the chicken was hard and dry, gravy smells bad too. Clearly feels it was not made fresh probably reheated frozen leftover from other day.

No ordering again.

Delicious and Nutritious! Reportedly up to 70,+ different items of tasty foods! We - the 4 of us - were all quite pleased!!!!!

Went there for buffet and the food wasn't warm enough, the cutlery and plates need to changed, they're too old and have any scratches on em. They need to have make fresh deserts as it looks and tastes a day or two old. The staff is polite and helpful. Was good talking to us atleast. Super cold inside the heater don't work. Will dine again.

Very bad experience. Came here for buffet. The server was very unprofessional. They were fighting with each other. We were the only table at the restaurant still the server never came and asked us if we needed anything. Overall very bad experience. Won’t recommend it ever again

I ordered a mix Mathai, and it was very hard, like it was months old. It also had a bad smell, and it was the worst experience.

Do not order from this place. They watered down the butter chicken and replaced chicken samosas with potato. Such obvious and embarrassing ways to cut costs. Food doesn’t even taste that good. Not sure if you can tell the consistency by the photo wish I could upload a video. Embarrassing.

Worst experience ever. The service was like a roadside dhaba, but the prices were like a 5-star hotel. I would definitely give 0 stars if Google Reviews allowed it, so I'm giving 1 star instead.

P.S. I never give such low ratings. I always try to appreciate and leave 5-star reviews, but this is the first time I've been truly disappointed.
