Nice setting but small. I am not sure what type of food it is but it is not Vietnamese. Fish sauce was mostly sugar no garlic or lime. Sandwich had some weird cold cut which wasn’t regular Vietnamese ham. Spring rolls was cooked in old oil. Not much taste in any of the food.

Best Vietnamese banhmi and coffee in Vancouver so far . I have tried 4 others in Vancouver but this is still my most favorite ❤️

I would highly recommend the “Ngon special” banhmi and the salted cream coffee to anyone. Also recommend to bring a plastic straw because theirs is paper straw and it’s just simply disgusting. There’s dollar store and T&T nearby to get the straw if you need.

I tried their newly opened location in burnaby and thought it was good. Came to try the Vancouver location and was quite disappointed. The banh mi did not have much in there. The pate is a small smear and the ingredients don't go to the end. Even if you don't put a lot of meat, at least fill it up with pickled diakon and carrot. There was just a single strand of cilantro.

The manager reached out to me to issue a refund. I have changed the rating to reflect this proactive-ness. I hope that they review what happened and maintain consistency throughout their stores.

No tap water served. Great sandwiches but they refuse to give you water with your meal unless you buy a bottle of water. It puts your servers in a bad position and makes the customer feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Bad management decision, hope they will change that policy

Not a terrible place. I don't have a huge complaint, but a handful of minor ones.

The menu is very unclear regarding the drinks, and the server wasn't exactly great at clarifying.

I came in asking if they had Vietemese Egg Coffee, and understood when the answer was no.
The staff member suggested the Salted Cream Coffee. Since it was offered as an alternative I assumed (which I'll admit, I shouldn't have) that it was very similar. So I was expecting a small cup of hot coffee, with a salted cream on top.

This is not what their Salted Cream Coffee is. Their Salted Cream Coffee is an iced coffee, with the Salted cream on top. For the record, this was not a bad item. If you like iced coffee you would enjoy it.

I do not.

The staff did offer to get me something else, which is why I'm not giving a bad review but an average. I didn't take it because I didn't want it to go to waste. And from what I understood, there wasn't a hot version of it at all. I bring this up not as a complaint but as feedback to have the menu more clear.

The fact the Salted Cream Coffee is iced was not listed on their menu. If it was I could have made an informed decision about what I wanted. Or the staff could have clarified with me that I wanted a hot or cold drink.
I do not think the staff did anything wrong. They were courteous enough to offer to fix the misunderstanding. However, there is room for improvement.

The wait time, looking back at my receipt, is reasonable. It took only a few minutes to get my coffee, and a total of 10 to get my Bahn Mi.
Said Bahn Mi was alright. Nothing out of this world but enjoyable.

I'm giving 3 stars as it was an average expirence. Mistakes were made, but reasonable steps were taken to correct it. Food was good but not exceptional. So average.

Ordered in restaurant in person and I forgot to mention I have an account so I did not get my reward points. Chatted with them online and they immediately credited my points after I submitted my receipt. Excellent service! Food is good; the restaurant's music is a bit loud and not to my preference (rap). Overall, good experience- we've been buying here for the past 3 years.

5 stars. Great food, happy staff and reasonably priced. Caramel coffee, coco coffee and beef sandwich were a standout.

Everything is done right and well priced. A elevated casual cafe.

Sandwiches! The beef one was great. You know they know what they're doing when they got the bread just right and it's soft inside and flaky on the outside. Subway needs to close down and make way for ngon cafe.

The coco coffee, the caramel creme coffee were great if you want a sweet coffee. Bai su was also great if you enjoy something stronger.

Flavor for the coffee was perfect. Hard to find something similar to compare it to.

I see this cafe will find a lot of success. Hopefully they'll find their way downtown.
Thank God for owners like this. Making vancouver just a lil bit better.

Will be back to try everything else.

Don’t like their Vietnamese sub, lack in both taste and ingredients as compared to other cafe. We wanted Viet sub last evening, other regular restaurants we went were closed and we found this with very good rating. Yet disappointed, so write this to give a balanced review to restaurant searchers.

Ordered catering for a large baby shower. Louis, the owner, was amazing with the communication from the start and answered all the questions I had promptly over email. Upon pick up, all the food was packaged well for travel and the veggie options were in separate containers. They even provided us a separate bag with the sauces. The banh mis were super fresh and delicious, with lots of filling. Grilled beef was the best. A ton of people were asking where the food was from. Will definitely use this place again for future events.

Best ca-phe muoi (salt cream coffee) in the city! The only place that makes it as good as the ones in Vietnam.

The prices are very reasonable, I had the beef sizzling plate and it was incredibly flavourful. The bread/baguette is lighter than other places but still soft and crusty.

The atmosphere is clean and bright and the staff are friendly.
