I am visiting Vancouver and decided to check out this restaurant. My friend and I were greeted as soon as we walked through the door with big smiles from employees. Once seated outside, the server was quick to approach us and take our orders. The food and atmosphere were astonishing. I definitely recommend putting this spot on your MUST when visiting Vancouver!

Dined here just the other day and had a nice meal on the patio. We got greeted by what I think was the manager and had exceptional service all night. It is a very cute place that has some of the best pizza I have ever had. Also the olives are to die for!!! The manager personally thanked us for coming, everyone was very personable and kind. Amazing experience overall. These kind of places make me love going out to eat!

My most recent visit was extraordinary.Not sure what everyone is on about regarding poor service. The staff there gave us incredible service filled with laughter the whole night.The pizza is unbelievably good and we had an excellent wine bottle to go withHighly recommend. Will certainly be back!

The service was excellent. There was only one server and one chef but the two were very efficient. We really enjoyed the Napoli style pizza, and the fresh pasta had an interesting fusion sauce with a mixture of miso and carbonara. The guanciale in the carbonara sauce was rich and and full of flavour. The pasta was perfectly al dente and picked up the sauce nicely.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free optionsParking: Time restricted to two hours free street parking but plenty of spots in the area.Kid-friendliness: No kid menu but what kid doesn’t like pizza or pasta? Lots of choices and they can accommodate requested modifications (I asked for chilli flakes on the side instead of on the pizza as so my kid could share the pie with me).

Nicli is without question a welcome to the westside. Service is great, space is nice. We ordered the Greco salad,”sorry we are out”was the response, basic ingredients walk over to Save-on for the ingredients (I know, costs, maybe it was a busy day). We ordered another salad which was basically lettuce with a dressing, fine but wow? Nope. The pizza, Margherita, Nicli when they first opened was the benchmark for Vancouver pizza, (and via tevere, not sure who was first) but now with Ignite, Pizza Garden and La Ruota, to name a few, pumping excellent fast pizza there is a lot of good to great pizza. Last night Nicli was just average, no puff to the dough, it is as if they did not let the dough ferment long enough. The pizza came warm, not hot, sauce is tasty, overall flavour good. I am not saying that the pizza is terrible it just can be better.

Our family used to eat in the previous place here, + already knew this establishment in North Van. We had high hopes, but it fell far short of our expectations. From the moment we walked in, there was an overwhelming lack of warmth and hospitality. The staff seemed indifferent, offering no smiles or genuine kindness. It felt like they were doing us a favor by being there. Even worse, the food failed to make up for the disappointing atmosphere. We left feeling unwelcome, and unsatisfied. We definitely do not recommend this location.

Great little restaurant if you’re craving some authentic Italian food.Inside, it smells like olive oil and pizza dough, the staff is very friendly, and the music really adds to this warm atmosphere. Service being a bit slow would be my only real complaint.I had the Cacio e pepe pasta, which was amazing and just like the one I once had in Rome. My girlfriend had the pepperoni pizza, which was also delicious and generous, but was a bit watery in the middle which made it a bit hard to eat! We also shared a focaccia which was probably the best part of the meal, highly recommend!Overall great experience, we’ll be back!Vegetarian options: plenty of options! some vegan ones too
This local pizza location in UBC Westbrook Mall invites the pizza and Italian food scene customer for a fine tasting menu..we chose the Salimi & Fungi pizza and the Bolognese pasta…there was a warm welcome and we appreciated the many items on the menu…there was plenty of parking in the area..

We bought a gift card at Christmas for our daughter and it was refused when she tried to use it this weekend. We are out $100! Called Nicli's twice and left messages, no one has returned our calls. Has anyone else had this problem? Until this is resolved I would strongly caution folks from buying a gift card from this establishment.

It was our first time at this new location near UBC. We have been frequent happy customers at their other locations in the past. Unfortunately, the pizza we had today was subpar and was truly disappointing. We don't intend to go back anytime soon! Very unfortunate experience because we were so looking forward to a delicious ?.
