Nightingale was the first place I ate in Vancouver and it set the bar high. I had the Tuna and the Buttermilk chicken. It was sensational. I can see why people go for there for the chicken. Jagen was a great server, very knowledgeable and approachable made two Aussie feel at home

This place was spectacular! We booked the chef's table and got to see all of the dishes coming through.
The outstanding sous chef really took time to speak with us about all the food and the restaurant even though she was busy expediting.

We popped into Nightingale for a walk-in lunch and were absolutely blown away. The restaurant has a wonderfully chic and vibrant atmosphere, buzzing with energy even during the day. It's a beautiful space.
The cocktails were expertly crafted—a perfect midday treat. We shared the beet salad, which was fresh and flavourful, and the pizza was simply outstanding with a perfect crust.
Even as walk-ins, the service was fantastic. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made our spontaneous lunch feel like a special occasion. Nightingale is an amazing spot for an elevated lunch in downtown Vancouver. Highly recommend!

You must go! Highly recommend the chef’s table experience if you have never done this! It may be a bit loud& warm but well worth it if you are a foodie. The kitchen & wait staff are phenomenal… water glass always full, wine poured immediately. Chefs were focused; never stopped moving & coordination between the team was seamless! They paid attention to every detail of the food preparation process. We had engaging conversations with both, in spite of how busy they were! I was reticent to order the Brussels sprouts as every restaurant seems to have the burnt, over saturated balsamic glaze. At Nightengale these are a star for a reason; cooked to perfection & dressed in a way that allows the true vegetable to shine through ! Fried chicken did not disappoint! Moist & juicy on the inside, crispy without being burnt on the outside. The maple glaze is a star in its own right, not syrupy & with an exquisite taste. However, I do not think the pickles added anything. Normally not a fan of opera cake but after seeing so many come out , it was my choice & no regrets! Absolutely perfection. It tastes as good as it looks! On a final note, the macchiato was the best I’ve had anywhere, transported me back to Italy. The friend who recommended this restaurant on her trip to Vancouver said the food was so good that she came back and ate here for a second night. I totally second this and if I had another night in the city, this is where I would be eating again! Special thanks to Hannah our waiter, the chefs and the lovely gentleman who seated us!
