Come here at least a handful of times a year. We usually get the xiao long bao, the hot and sour soup with noodles, the Chinese doughnut, sweet soy milk (hot), and the sticky rice roll. The owners/servers are nice and the food is good. I pretty much judge all other Shaghainese places against this place. It's not fancy but it's comfortable.

One of our favorite Chinese restaurants for family gatherings. The food is outstanding and the service is always prompt and friendly. The only downside is, I always over-eat, because it's so good. Nothing fancy, just good tasty food.

Their beef noodle soup is the best! The soup is so so flavorful and they give you generous meat portion in the soup. My boyfriend also really enjoys their dan dan noodle and pan fried dumplings. Reasonable price and friendly service (which is a rare thing for a chinese restaurant!)
Not sure why other review sites such as Yelp, tripadvisor have high ratings. It is the worse Shanghai restaurant ever. I had been here for many years since young. This is the first time back after 15 years. The food is lack in flavour. Some dishes heavily relies on salt or MSG..I guess people doesn't know the authentic taste.

A nice neighborhood eatery. Good value for the money. It wouldn't set you back too much even on a family dinner. Food quality and quantity is above average. Worth a try. It's worth an extra star if the decor is more recent.

Love the house soup (hot and sour) it definitely has some kick. The seaweed fish is amazing. Also the soup dumplings are delicious. Staff is very nice and accommodating.
