We just had a fantastic dinner at Nirvana’s new location on Victoria at 49 Ave. Very tasty food and super friendly hosts. The food is really Indian not Canadian/Indian. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, everything was delish. Highly recommend a visit.Vegetarian options: There are a lot of vegetarian choices.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to climb, no door sill to get over. Parking on the street or behind the restaurant.

We ordered mix veg and karahi paneerFood 10/10Ambience 10/10Desert 10/10We came all the way from surrey to dine here and found this gem of a place by chance.Owned by a beautiful, kind , loving couple who makes all the food with their good energy.You could feel the energy in every single bite of the food. It felt like mom and dad were cooking in the kitchen for us.On top of that, aunty ji has made sure she has made the place extra homely by hand designing this bathroom which is ultra clean !I loved every itty bitty of this place. Just went and had dinner here tonight for the first time and was blown away by the quality and flavours. We ordered the aloo gobi, goat curry, butter chicken, garlic & basil naan, onion & cilantro naan, and the lamb biryani. They gave us a raita as well to combat the heat from the biryani and it worked perfectly. All the dishes were not overly oily, as Indian dishes can sometimes be. The curry had a decent amount of meat in it but the lamb biryani was my favourite! Super flavourful with a nice amount of heat. The owners were very sweet, gracious, and attentive. I will definitely be back.

I had the opportunity to try this cuisine after work and I am so happy I did so. The food was so delicious though something that more stood out for me was that all the ingredients were so fresh and all the dishes were made there with all those fresh ingredients. I felt I had a homemade high quality meal that did not only made my tummy happy at the moment but my guts were feeling happy after too :) Well done guys, I recommend your local restaurant to everyone!
