The three of us and a dog came to Nonna’s Cucina on East Hastings for the first time after seeing it several times while driving by. We each ordered the rigatoni dish and in our opinion the quality was at par with Oca and La Tana. Very tasty and flavorful, and good portions. It was so neat to be served on pretty china instead of on a cardboard container. One of the staff came out while we were waiting at our table for our dishes and he was so kind to give our friend’s dog...

Nonna Cucina never disappoints! Their baked lasagne is absolutely heavenly — packed with so much meat, cheese, and rich sauce that every bite feels like comfort food at its finest. The chitarra with prawns is just as amazing, al dente pasta, bursting with flavour, and perfectly cooked prawns. Portion sizes are generous.

I’ve ordered from them 6 times now, and the quality is always consistent. It’s the kind of food that feels nourishing for both the stomach...
