This place is fantastic! The food is delicious, and I highly recommend visiting during happy hour when there are excellent deals available.

I've visited twice now and had a great experience both times. Gavin from Dublin was one of our wonderful servers, and he made our visit extra special by surprising us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate my partner and I’s 1-year anniversary - such a thoughtful gesture!

The only minor downside was the noise level inside the restaurant. It was quite lively, making it difficult to hear my partner at times. However, this is simply due to the popularity and vibrant atmosphere of the place.

Additionally, the cleanliness of the bathroom could have been better, as shown in the photo attached to this review. I believe this was likely due to some guests not treating it properly rather than any fault of the staff.

Overall, this is a fantastic spot with excellent food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Had an AHh-MaZiNg lunch with friends at Nook Kistilano today! The dishes we ordered were top-notch and the staff was very friendly! And it was such a beautiful day out to sit outside and enjoy our meals!🥰

Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. We ordered a margarita pizza but the waiter brought us a margarita drink and we said that it was not our order. It was a simple misunderstanding that often happens in restaurants and could have been easily resolved, but the waiter got very angry and treated us very rudely and unpleasantly. We refused to argue and even tipped, but I think the management of this restaurant should have more control over their staff. A bad attitude stays in the memory for years.

Wonderful food, fresh and cooked to order, menu is kept simple for a reason and the food was delicious, made with care and love, served hot. There is a small outside patio, feels quite European but we chose to sit inside, lovely atmosphere and trendy decor inside.

Didn’t understand what all the hype was about this place until a friend and I went…. Wow great quality food, so delicious! My friend loved the gluten free pasta!
Will definitely come back!

Whilst, the restaurant is nicely laid out and it has a good - if loud - atmosphere our recent visits have been tarnished by the service and the general feeling of being rushed. It seems that the management is very focused on quick turnover of the tables so even if you’re spending $50-60:head the target is to get you out within 60-70 minutes. On our last visit our server was so rude when i questioned him on one of the food items and it really detracted from our experience. Even though the restaurant has a great location and decent - limited - food offerings we will not return. One always wants to feel appreciated as a customer and not an economic unit to drive profit for owners. It’s a fine balance and Nook Kits has got it wrong in my opinion.

Overall, everything is delicious!!
Pizza, pasta, and desserts were all delicious!!
The staff were friendly and checked the table every time, which made me feel good!
The restaurant is not small, but there are a lot of customers, so every time I go, the place is usually full.
The pizza here is baked right in the oven, and the dough is especially sticky and really delicious!!
I highly recommend this place because it is not salty and has just the right taste!!

I had pizza prosciutto, was nice n crunchy, maybe a bit too much greens and Parmigiano on top. Service was pleasant, special thanks to Ella, who was so friendly and accommodating. Cozy atmosphere, but the kitchen was so noisy. Loud sounds of metal cutlery segregation almost gave me a panic attack. Also, the restaurant does not share its Wifi

This is a great neighbourhood spot - busy, buzzy, loud, even on a Wednesday night. I ordered the spaghetti puttanesca. I'm sorry to say it was very disappointing indeed. The portion was fair, but the pasta was dry; there was virtually no sauce on it. I can make an excellent puttanesca myself (and it's really not hard nor is it expensive to make) and this fell far short of that. Also Arriva on Commercial drive does a very good one - and they charge a lot less, though the atmosphere isn't as "cool." I would have asked the server for more sauce but, disappointingly, she never came by our table to ask how the meal was. At $27 I thought all their pastas are overpriced. My friend got a pasta substitution and they charged her an extra $5 which, bringing her meal to $32, was an utter rip off for a meatless, high profit meal. The panna cotta desert was nice. The tiramisu rather dry and felt lacking in that luscious mascarpone richness. Would I go back? Maybe to share a pizza and a salad. But I won't be in any great hurry.
