I can’t believe I have never found this place before now, but so glad I did. What a unique location, in a lumber yard (I feel sorry for the folks who are trying to work around waiting cafe customers! Maybe delish pancakes in their backyard make up for the inconvenience?!) and super delicious food! I had smoked salmon Benny and couldn’t pass up a side of wonton soup (yum!) and a stole bite of my friend’s blueberry pancakes! And even went home with a bag of frozen dumplings....

Northern cafe and grill is my happy place! Mama’s wonton soup is a must with their secret hot sauce😋First time to order the steak and eggs and they made it just the way I like it! Hubby had the chicken and French toast and he devoured this! Patient husband(because there was a line up) +Incredible staff + delicious food=happy wife!!!😊

Northern cafe transported me to straight to Vietnam! Its atmosphere, vibe, is definitely not North American. Just the breakfast is, with a touch of home.

We didn’t know this place was in a lumbar yard. Didn’t know it was a lunch room that was converted to this cafe.

The surprises made my day. Richard and his crew rock, very very hospitable. The food is great. Love the options eggs, burgers, pancakes and my personal favourite, wontons and...
