They use mostly organic ingredients, so it felt very safe for kids to eat. Everything was incredibly fresh. It’s been really hard to find good sushi in downtown, but this place is the real deal — you must try it. I especially recommend the oysters; they were unbelievably fresh. Just be warned… you might not be able to stop eating.

The staff were, of course, very friendly and welcoming. We went with a group that had lots of kids, and they treated us so kindly that the kids really enjoyed the experience.

My go-to downtown sushi spot. Quality sashimi. The manager Alec is so friendly and welcoming to everyone (Hi Alec!). Today I was particularly hungry and got the sushi/sashimi lunch special (see photos). The oyster was a nice addition.

Quality service! I think everyone here is very kind and welcoming. Food is great too as they have healthier options like black rice.

Just now we went there for the first time. Jason the server was great . Food was great. But I can’t remember the other guy
Who gave the menu. Wearing black shirt. Seems he is the lead guy for this crew. He is not welcoming . He ask me about what to drink . I said warm water. He took away the drinks menu. With out asking.facial expression was not happy .But he gave us cold water.I have some plans for that date with my wife. This guy needs some training how to take care customers. Looks rude and it seems he doesn’t care.

The food is delicious, some of the best sushi and gyoza I've ever had. However, the service was terrible. The waiters were super friendly and attentive, but the manager (I assume he was the manager because he wore a different uniform and was older than the others) was very rude. He ignored me and rushed me to finish my meal, probably so I would leave. In the end, he made faces at me about the tip I left. For the price, I would expect better service and better drinks; they were very basic.

Probably favourite sushi place in Vancouver, the food is always tasty and fresh. Service is really good, quick, efficient and friendly. Have visited a couple times and served by Max a couple of my visits and always exceeds the service expectations.

I went there for lunch on my day off and had their bento box with sushi and sashimi. The meal was well worth the price and was so fresh and came with me so soup, side salad, Gyoza, tempura and fruit. I probably spent nearly an hour and a half there it was a wonderful experience and nice service.!

This was the best sushi I've had in a long time. I was visiting Vancouver for 1 day and I walked into the first sushi restaurant I saw when I took the train downtown from the airport. I was initially a bit surprised at 27$ for a lunch special but it ended up being so worth it with a raw oyster dressed up nicely as a special bite, really good takoyaki, excellent sushi and sashimi, tempura, and edamame, and a salad with a raspberry vinaigrette or something that I ate every last bite of ( I don't even like salads normally). Masterful knife cuts and a cute little orange as a dessert. Very well balanced meal that was very fresh and high quality ingredients. I am thoroughly impressed even though the tables were small and stool a bit uncomfortable but that's probably due to small space.

My favourite sushi restaurant in the Lower Mainland. The food is always delicious and the selection is creative. You need to try the temaki if you haven’t already.
