I redeemed a free Banh mi today and I was not impressed. I felt like they gave me less meat and other toppings than usual. A bit disappointed. I don’t think it was because of the staff as they would follow the standard. I assume it would be because of the owner of that location.

Food here is absolutely phenomenal, same as the other location I’ve been to multiple times. (I didn’t know this was a chain) . service was however not friendly and forgot jalepenos that I ordered but at least I was not charged for them. I would recommend for take out and would come back.

I love these sandwiches. Cheap too. The bread used to be better like a year ago. I was sad when they changed but it's still good. 7 to 9$

First time trying this place; saw their BOGO Banh Mi promotion BUT for some reason they’ve decided to include 4 meat options and exclude the only vegetarian option from the BOGO.

Tried it anyways full price, and was sadly disappointed. The flavour was lacking, the tofu was uncooked and actually raw, there were toppings that I don’t consider authentic or traditional on a banh mi. For example, there were not enough pickled carrots or daikon on there, but there were raw/pickled white onions (not traditional). They also added some deep fried ramen noodles inside as a filler. For the price I’d rather see mushrooms, some lemongrass seasoned tofu or more pickled veggies + more veggies in general, not deep fried ramen.

There was one tiny sliver of Jalapeño in each sandwich. Their house made mayo was just OK but not enough of it considering it was the only thing adding any flavour to the entire sandwich.

On the positive side, the service was polite, fast, and the interior is small, but welcoming.

The price per Banh Mi was $8.5 which is similar to what some other places charge so I was expecting more from Obanmi which seems to be highly regarded.

Located in an odd spot with minimum parking.
Banh Mi is about the fresh bread and veggies, but both were decidedly mediocre at OhBanhMi.
Could be just a bad day but we won't be going back.
Is there any place in Vancouver that serves terrific banh mi?

Tastes awesome and it’s such such a healthy but tasty meal. Prices are also really great as well.

Really tasty! I ordered the vegetarian option. The vegan would've been without mayo, but I find the mayo makes the sandwich! The mango passionfruit lemonade was very much appreciated!!!

I’m very particular with my bánh mì. This is my go to for a house special. Loaded with meat. Perfect amount and flavour in sauce. I have a small front face only cause there’s no jalapeños today. All in all, delish!

OMG my friend and I ordered banh mi to go from this place because I had tried it once before. This time, my friend wanted it little spicy, so I told the restaurant to put chilli or some spicy sauce in. BUT WHO WOULD’VE THOUGHT THIS IS THE AMOUNT OF CHILI THEY PUT IN THE BANH MI?! We literally had to take it out of the sandwich, and even after throwing most of it in the trash, there was STILL about a whole spoonful left and that’s what we kept just to write this review.

Y’all seriously need to retrain your kitchen staff. Like ?? how is anyone supposed to eat a banh mi with THAT much chili in it?? Never ordering from here again.

“I went to pick up a DoorDash order from Obanhmi and asked to use the washroom, but they refused. It’s disappointing that they don’t allow customers or delivery drivers to use their facilities. A little more consideration for people picking up food would be appreciated
