This is my favorite Banh Mi destination in town. Crispy bread, tasty fillings, and super friendly service. My family will definitely be back for sure 🥰.

do not recommend. The old cashier women give less change if you use cash. Then she told her coworker about me to chasing the change. She thought I don;t understand what she speaks. Do not go there anymore. she lose me as a customer.

Quite mid. This spot used to be obanhmi.
Ordered a Special banh mi, waited 15 mins.
The banh mi was crunchy, but that was it. The ingredients didn’t feel cohesive. The meat was a bit too fatty. Overall, not as good as obanhmi and was more expensive

So good; really fresh sandwich veggies and the bread crust shatters.

Food's mid.
This place used to be an Obanhmi, I'm not sure if it's the same business under a different name, or if it's a whole new business but the banhmi AND the spring rolls are just not the same.
The Spring Rolls have thick chunky skin rather than the traditional paper-thin type, feels oilier.
And the Banhmi is just disappointing. I used to LOVE their bread, moist and crunchy, your teeth would slice thru em nicely. Now it's cardboard that you have to tug at to tear off a bite. The meat is less flavorful, more dry, and I think they actually reduced how much they added compared to before. I had a Cold Cut banhmi recently, and today a Siumai meatball banhmi. It was really little meat. The sauce is also reduced so that's even less flavor.
I used to frequent this place as a high-quality but very affordable meal. Now it's not as good as it used to be, and I wouldn't even recommend it to people. And if this is a new business separate from Obanhmi, it's kinda scammy that they keep the old reviews from before the transfer, since it didn't earn them.
The staff is nice though.

The frozen yogurt is really pretty tasty. They make it with frozen fruit. I did not see if they added anything else. Maybe cream. But certainly not sugar. The taste was apparent. A really good healthy alternative sweet, cold dessert treat. Got the small size. Shared with my toddler. Honestly, I am a big guy. And it was almost too much for me. Under $4 including tax. Next time I will definitely try the sandwiches. One downside is since they make it fresh each time, you cannot try different flavours. But you basically just get whar you choose. If you like blueberry, it is just frozen blueberries made into frozrn yogurt.
A little icy is my only complaint. Maybe the frozen fruits could use a few minutes to thaw slightly. But great value and experience overqll.

The sandwich was really good, chicken lemongrass lived up to its name of being the best banh mi they have. The Thai milk tea is also excellent but it could get a bit of an adjustment in the sugar amount. The new spring roll was fine, can’t say the same for the veg spring roll. Last but not least, the service was fantastic, on Wednesday and Friday, the most talkative worker they have will be working there, start a conversation with him and you might find a really good listener

So, the problem with trying to run a killer Vietnamese street food place in Yaletown is that you can't charge $3 for a sandwich and still be in business because your rent is insane. BUT... For $10-$12 this place pumps out authenticity of some of the best street food on the PLANET that would fool a lot of critics, while smashing what you get from Sub -cough- Way next door for the same price. Spend your money here. Get a real sub on some of the most delicious fresh baguette you'll find in the city. Don't be dumb and eat inside. Walk a block and go eat it on the seawall. Thank me later.

Sandwich was not bad, but needs more sauce otherwise very plain. I realized half way through eating that the wood table to eat on has is infested with ants. Would not come again.
