Simply put, no one is doing it like Magari. The food, the ambiance, the STAFF!!! Everything is the best you’ll ever get. Can’t say enough good things about this place. If you haven’t gone yet, what are you waiting for!

Started lining up at around 4:20pm on a weekday. We were a group of four and were the fourth group in line, got in when they opened at 5:00pm. We didn’t experience the poor service as some reviewers experienced. The service was excellent!! All of the staff were super friendly! The pasta was not bad… but certainly not the best I’ve had in Vancouver, as some have suggested. Honestly, this place is overhyped and overpriced. But I had to give their tasting menu a try. We had a great time there, but the food didn’t live up to the hype.

AMAZING. I have been thinking about this pasta for 2 weeks since I went. Highly recommend the tasting menu as the appetizers, pastas, and desserts all surpassed expectations. We arrived at about 4:30 on a Saturday and were fourth in line for the second seating at 7pm, which was what we were expecting. Smooth process if you don't mind waiting a bit, and the wait is definitely worth it.

Came here with a couple of friends and we all ordered the tasting menu, which was spectacular. One of us is vegetarian and the kitchen accommodated well. The service was great, super friendly, the pastas are incredible. 2 of us thought the squash pasta was the best and the other 2 voted for the caccio e pepe. And the dessert... Jesus. Perfect ending. 1000% would come back

I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place, and it definitely did not disappoint, and I may boldly claim this as the best pasta in Vancouver.They do not take reservations, so expect to get in line at 4:30 to ensure you have a seat for either 5pm or 7pm. If you want a 7pm or later seating, you still need to join the line to put your name on the list.Next, they have a lovely tasting menu for $70 per person for you to try a variety of 4 pastas, a starter, and a dessert. I would recommend this as a start to get to know this place. Everything tastes so fresh and delicious, it definitely earned its reputation.Next time I come back, I will go a la carte, but the tasting gave me a chance to try a little of everything. Definitely worth the wait, and definitely worth the line.

We were brushed off by the staff so they could greet regulars (I guess) and made to feel like we were a nuisance.Again, the food was great. But the staff were condescending and the atmosphere mechanical. The maitre 'd was clearly just managing the seatings and not doing any client maintenance or service for those he did not already know. I guess you're part of the in-group or you're not.
