The food is great, theres plenty of selection...I live the salad the most.Though our server was not that great,he is an Asian guy, that is not friendly.
Something was very wrong with the food, I was very ill all night after our dining experience. Trying to pin point what exactly I ate to make me so ill! Also I should mention for $72. per person the selection lacked variety and quality, we were very disappointed. It definitely didn't match other reviews for sure!
Came here for Sunday brunch. Food was okay. Service was good. Food: limited but good-enough selection, quality was decent, personally I felt the carving station beef was tough and the salmon wellington lacked flavour. The hot lingcod dish tasted too fishy. There seemed to be only one food runner topping up the stations and the were definitely gaps/waits especially for hot foods. Service: our waitress Jessica was friendly. Atmosphere: the live piano was really nice. Walkways between dining tables was a bit tight. At peak hour ~1pm the areas around the food stations felt scrambly from all the guests in a fully seated restaurant. We were a party of 6 but there was no automatic 18% gratuity as some have mentioned.
It was good overall but i just noticed the pastry section as there was no enough lighting there. The choices of food for the kids are very limited, they are expecting some waffles and pancakes with chocolate dipping sauce for a brunch buffet. Thank you
It was the Jazz pasta dinner. We were seated kind of away from the Jazz band. Plus was the view by the windows. Minus was it kind of lacks the Jazz night atmosphere. Nice view, food was good. Pasta was okay as it was the make your own style. Desserts and cold dishes were very delicious. I wish they offered steak frites, roast beef, or chicken as I don't consume pork.
We enjoyed the New Year's Brunch. They had: a nice variety of foods, cold seafood, delicious hot salmon, vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, cheese and spinach cannelloni, good assortment of desserts with a chocolate fountain and strawberries, they made fresh omelettes (with choices of ham, shrimp, salmon and only mozzarella cheese plus veggie choices), dim sum was fine, vegetable spring roll was tasty without noodles but a tad too big for a buffet choice, salad choices were okay, 2 varieties of juice (orange and grapefruit), assorted cheese was good, charcuterie of meats and olives can be improved in choices and presentation, there were meat choices, as well. Service was fine. It took awhile before we were served coffee. We had to get our own refill. They refilled the water glass, often. We had a good time. I like their cloth napkins.
It was a fantastic experience. The food is good, the service is impressive; however, we were surprised that the bill included an 18% tip. Nowhere was it mentioned. So we couldn't change it; it was a fact, which is strange. Otherwise, everything was fantastic.
Very discriminatory towards single travelers. I had to wait for a table for upwards of 15 minutes while they sat table after table of 4 people with plenty of open 4 person tables. I get it, you want more money, but you could absolutely have seated the solo travelers at one of the MANY MANY open 4 person table instead of waiting 15 minutes for the few 2 person tables you have to open up.
They also sat plenty of 2 person couples at 4 person tables. It was just super frustrating for a subpar food that’s at a business oriented hotel that is clearly going to have solo travelers.

A most underwhelming selection of options for a buffet. The quality isn’t bad, but it was quite an unimpressive buffet from a variety point of view. The limited number of hot entrees included a honey ham and cheese sandwich as well as a cheesy flatbread. They almost seemed like fillers because they had nothing else to offer. There were also potatoes, stuffed cannelloni, lamb steak (which was good), fish & shrimp, and steamed vegetables. If I’ve forgotten anything else, it’s not by much.
The pasta bar where they make to order was decent but didn’t taste like anything I couldn’t have made at home.
The service was very good though. Friendly and attentive enough for a buffet to remove plates and refill water.
We went on the Saturday evening buffet and jazz night so at least there was some nice background music.
I don’t think we’ll be going back anytime soon, unfortunately.

The food was incredible. Absolutely loved everything. I found the decor of the hotel a bit sad and needing love and care.

Having watched famous Canadian YouTuber TIM LEE in describing Oceans 999 Sunday Brunch being a great place to be for a nice Brunch, we decided to give it a try and I took my family (party of 3 booking under "Suet Wah Man") on Oct 19, 2025 and boy, did we made a huge mistake! 1. The food choices were little and certainly nothing like the very much hyped promotions of your famous Sunday Brunch; 2. Food quality was also medicore and nothing to write home about; Last but not leastm. we were very concerned that the plates placed at the different stations were dirty and had clear signs of unclealiness; one plate I took even had remnants of leftover food on the back of the plate which was terribly disgusting. How can this be? In all the many buffets we attended anywhere in the world in Asia and across Europe, this is the first time we encountered this and most alarmingly, in a 5 Star hotel like the Pan Pacific. Hygenically, this causes serious concerns for your patrons. If we may say so, this isn't worth anything near $68 per head and having travelled all round the world, sad to say your buffet isn't even close to any 3-4 Star hotel in Asia . Even their breakafst buffet are far more exciting and offers far more in terms of quality and variety and they are not even billed as "the famous" so and so. Totally disappointing and even if this buffet was free, we would not have the slightest urge to visit again.
I tried the brunch and I like it. I tried the Saturday jazz night with buffet and selection was so-so, no soup and no fruits. Live jazz entertainment was great but the dinner buffet? I would not recommend.
