If you're like me, a unique cocktail lover who wants some quality but uncommon ingredients, this is a great place we discovered. After a little tour and tasting experience, I left with some spirits that will be making a debut in home cocktails this holiday season. Including: 1. Port barrel Wallflower gin. Very unique 2. Strawberry gin, (using real local strawberries for flavouring) 3. Creme de Cassis perfect in champagne or on ice cream (this will be fun to experiment with) 4. Smoke & Oak whisky (nice depth, no mix required) I discovered it's under new ownership and management, their impact is already beginning to shine through, I know I'll be returning to see even more of the "upgrades." Sit and sip cocktails inside where you can see the stills while being served by knowledgeable (and creative) staff.
Fun distillery experience in the Powell Street area. This place has a lot of different alcohols, including whiskeys, gin, and amaro.
They also have a good happy hour to get a few of their signature cocktails cheaper so you can try what they make. And yes, every drink is made fresh in front of you so you can watch the bartenders make all of your cocktails.
Definitely a cool spot to check out before heading to some of the restaurants in the area.
For me, this is the best distillery in Vancouver, both for their spirits and their cocktails. and Gordon and Miriam have put together a wonderful room that I can comfortably spend hours in.
Over the years, I've seen them slowly grow their lineup to the variety they have today and I can say that every step was considered; Gord and his team do not put out any bad products.
The tasting room is where I really developed an appreciation for cocktails from the early days when Mia developed the bar program. While there are always a few classics, Mia introduced me to flavours and combinations I hadn't experienced before - not because they were trendy or cool, but because they worked.
Come down, spend a couple hours, and support a local business built by people who care about every aspect of what they're doing.
Excellent cocktails and great service! Worth the travels and good way to start a bar/food tour on commercial drive.
Disappointing cocktails. The drinks tasted watery, lack of of punch served in ikea glasses. For prices ranging 14 to 20 cad I would expect high end mixology served in fitting glasses.
Go to franks or the box car. They served better drinks.
Vibe was nice.
Tried them at the west end market and had to visit. Wasn’t disappointed. Excellent craft spirits made on site and inventive cocktails made by Jules make for a perfect highly recommended visit
Seriously great little hangout. Pleasant, weird, friendly, unpretentious - East Van through and through. Also happens to distill my favourite gin, so that’s a plus!
What a great place, and I had a tour, which was very informative. After the tour, we retired to the lounge for some cocktails. Wow!! Everything was great. Jess & Jewl were fabulous. Thanks for the tour, Jim

Amazing afternoon at Odd Spirits! Tasting flights were great! Commodore Whiskey and Port Barrel Wallflower Gin were favourites! Great cocktails and appies. Took a bottle of each home with us ♥️ 🥃 🍹. Amazing service from Erin made us feel like “regular patrons”. We will be back. Highly recommended.
Always a good time - the cocktails are truly unique and always so interesting (and consistently surprisingly and delicious). Great spot

I've been going here for years, and have never had a bad experience here! I recently had my birthday party here, and all the staff were super helpful, from accommodating my group size, to being so attentive throughout the night. The drinks are delicious and the ambiance is perfect. Will certainly be back!
My partner and I love Odd Society, and have visited for many celebrations. Their cocktail menu is creative and they often have tasty specials, featuring their brands of different spirits. Keep in mind that their food menu is limited, but the drinks are well worth the night out. This is a gem spot in our neighbourhood.
Funky space and decent cocktails but wasn’t “wowed”. They have a happy hour til 6pm with $11 cocktails.
Very cosy bar area, especially on the leather seats. Tastefully decorated with Dim lights. I sat down sipping my whiskey flight, comfortably numb. Very friendly waitress who provided great recommendations.
Amazing spirits (best I’ve ever had) the owners are often present
