Gross food. Even worse human who drives distracted constantly and spouts racist garbage on social media. AVOID at all costs!
Very good falafel, recommended

I enjoyed how quiet the restaurant was, as it was empty and free of the Denman chaos. The lady at the counter seemed very angry and abrupt, but maybe she was having a bad day. It’s just unfortunate when people working in the food/hospitality sector don’t realize that their occupation requires some level of genuine human interaction and friendliness. I was confused about the hummus, because it wasn’t any different from regular hummus. It was actually more bland, which was unfortunate. The falafel had an odd metallic taste, and was very dry. The metallic taste might be from baking soda in the falafel mixture, or maybe something else. But it was very overpowering. I wouldn’t ever order falafel from here again and would stick to the falafel at some donair restaurants on Davie/denman. Overall I was very confused at the google rating, as the food taste and quality was very low. Maybe the dishes specific to the cuisine are better? Maybe they can indicate what those are. I’m not sure if I’d return. Updated from previous review on 2024-04-08
The food is quite bland and tasteless, it isn’t even authentic middle eastern cuisine, I’m not a vegan or vegetarian but I’m posting on here because they take down bad reviews on Google, I think that most if not all good reviews they have are from family and friends
Terrible service. The food was not great either. The hummus is almost as dry as the crusty falafel. Very disappointed. I certainly made a mistake choosing this place to eat on my first visit to Vancouver.
Food was delicious, service was amazing, great location. ?

The food was bland, and the hot dishes were cold. When I complained about the dish being cold, they said there’s nothing they can do. The hummus tasted rotten.

Service needs to improve food was cold and took long. Didn’t taste authentic
Hot dishes were cold & soggy. Plus the owner was rude when we pointed out our food was cold and soggy.

Ofra is a reckless driver (uses her phone while driving) and records herself saying that all Palestinian children should be m*rdered because they are all terrorists. I heard the food is dry (specifically the falafel) but honestly I will never come here because I do not support bigots. Boycott Ofra's Kitchen.

I went here because of the reviews. Now I’m starting to believe they are all family members that left the positive reviews. I had to bring the attention of the waiter to serve me. Slow, the food really isn’t great for the price. The homos was dry, as well as falafel. Thought it was yesterday’s food. Not fresh. I ate it, filled me but wasn’t satisfied at all.

Never again!
We used to come here often when we lived in the west end. Sadly, the food and service is no longer as good as it once was. The lady that served us appeared to be having a rough day. And that translated into a mediocre service at best. It also took awhile for our food to arrive. The only saving grace was the delicious Kanafeh Nabulsieh. Updated from previous review on 2024-01-13
