The food was served 30 minutes after ordering, but the amount of chicken wasn't very good and the kimchi fried rice was so salty that I didn't finish it, probably due to a failure to control the seasoning. The Zero Cola I ordered was the most delicious.

All the one star reviews seems to be true, I was hesitant to return after reading them. Beware as the new owner is definitely making fake accounts and rating 5 stars, as I just had the worst Korean chicken in my life tonight. No meat full of batter. In my opinion food court chicken at Metrotown taste a tad bit better

I loved this place! The cheese tteokbokki was so good and they were perfectly chewy. The sauce wasn't too spicy so it was easy to enjoy. The dish is packed with rice cakes and fish cakes and loaded with cheese on top! I would have liked it if the cheese was more melted but it was still delicious. The soy garlic chicken was also juicy and crispy.

I visited around 9pm on the 12th and ordered Budae Jjigae, and the food came out with a truly shocking appearance. It didn't contain all the minimum ingredients as described (tofu...) and the food came out with almost no vegetables. The price of $32 is not cheap, but as soon as it came out, everyone in my group was speechless. However, it wasn't incredibly delicious. There were even enoki mushrooms inside, but they weren't even cleaned? Still, since food is sold for money, shouldn't the preparation of ingredients be basic? I feel so bad looking at the taste, ingredients, and enoki mushrooms, and even if I order it at another Korean restaurant for $32, it doesn't come out like this. If you want to sell it, either sell it straight or don't sell it.

Really not impressed. Went there on a Friday night and the place was dead. For starters the service was horrible. The never checked on us, and we literally had to chase them down for everything. Extra water, to order, and a to go box to name a few. The whole experience was not pleasantWe ordered the fried chicken and there was a lot of little pieces that tasted like batter and fat only.Have been 40+ times over 10 years, but this will be my last time going back

There are way better options for Korean food on Robson! We ordered the tofu soup and the Korean fried chicken. There was hardly any ingredients in the soup (its supposed to come with seafood and there was barely any so my friend actually thought I ordered the kimchi soup by mistake) and the chicken was soggy and included many little batter only pieces. I recommend you eating at any of the other Korean restaurants on Robson instead.

Our trio reserved a table during Friday's happy hour. Tucked in the corner, we had a great, comfy time enjoying our meal and company. The place had a really lively atmosphere, seems to be very popular with the young crowd that time of night. We ordered 2 types of fried chicken platters -excellent flavour and cooked well, tender and big slices too. The army stew had fantastic broth, enticing kick and large slices of tofu and sausages. Service mildly spotty but overall a pleasant experience.

My husband and I loved this place, but when we went on Friday to enjoy some excellent chicken—or so we thought—we ordered a large half-and-half. However, when they brought us the chicken, we even doubted if it was ours because there weren't many pieces. It seemed as if some had been removed at the last minute. We asked the server if she was sure it was our dish because we found the alteration minor yet strangely off-putting. We left completely disappointed in this place that we had loved so much.

Cheese tteokbokki Soy garlic chicken Yogurt Soju I loved this place! The cheese tteokbokki was so good and they were perfectly chewy. The sauce wasn't too spicy (had a tiny kick) so it was easy to enjoy. The dish is packed with rice cakes and fish cakes and loaded with cheese on top! I would have liked it if the cheese was more melted but it was still delicious. The soy garlic chicken was also juicy and crispy. Although I don't think the soy garlic flavour came out a lot (it was mostly like a sweet glaze) dipping it in the tteokbokki sauce made it a perfect combo. This housemade yogurt soju was so good! I would say it definitely tasted nothing like alcohol and I definitely did feel any buzz from it. It tasted exactly like yakult so if you want a big bottle of yakult, this is the drink for you. Atmosphere: Our servers were so nice! We joked around a little bit and their positive attitude definitely made the whole experience better. They have projectors playing kpop music videos on the wall but the music wasn't too loud so you could listen along if you wanted to or still have a good time chatting with your friends. The place is a little bit hidden, located right beside little cafe on robson is their door which can be easily missed. Once you enter you have to walk up the stairs to reach the restaurant. Extra: Check their happy hour times for 50% off one dish! If you're a student, the 50% applies all day!

Was invited by friends to give Ole another try after the first disappointment. This time I avoided ordering the chicken after seeing the tables next to us being served the SAME exact tiny pieces we got last time that was mainly just batter. We ordered drinks and most of the options were out of stock even though we were the first few groups in the door for dinner, so we just got lots of beer instead. Got the tofu kimchi soup, bowls of rice and egg and other items… and it’s all a major disappointment everything is now a kids size and can MAYBE serve half an adult if they drank a lot of beerTo the new owner: Sorry but no matter how fake accounts you make to rate 5 stars, what you’re pumping out of the kitchen will slowly bankrupt the place. Those fake accounts are not the ones paying your bills so stop it. You think Vancouverites are not smart enough to see those accounts are brand new and have literally 1 review with some random made up name from different ethnicities? The game you’re playing just shows exactly who you are as the new owner. Not only did I complain but everyone at my table (both times) said they’re never coming back. So enjoy your last $140 from us and officially you’ve lost 8 people permanently. Good luck
