Stumbled across this restaurant on our last night in Vancouver and what a find. This is a small but very busy restaurant with lots of locals coming in a constant stream plus takeaways and delivery drivers. This was a Tuesday night and it was extremely busy. So it is clearly very popular and i see why!! The food was fantastic and very authentic. The portions were huge and very reasonably priced. Great wine too. It was a small team but they were constantly at it. Such a slick operation and the service was faultless. A special shout out to John who was very funny. An absolute must if you are in this part of Vancouver!

We made several visits to the Olympia during our visit this time around in Vancouver. However, we knew of this establishment on previous visits in 1999 and 2007. So once again, we made a bee-line for this restaurant and we’re certainly not disappointed. Wide choice of menu, large portions, excellent quality and good value. Staff are helpful and friendly - a special mention about Jon who served/waited on us on three occasions. Their pizzas and pasta dishes are first class (and filling).

We ate here on our lazt trip over 7 years ago andvthisctime found it even better. Everything was so tasty we had paste and soulvaki and everything was amazing. John is the best host. Great food great atmosphere and great value.

I had been here years and years ago. I was so glad to see it was still going strong. I remembered having a fantastic meal of moussaka all those years ago. I asked my waiter, who was fantastic by the way, what he recommended. Guess what he said? I had the moussaka dinner and a lovely glass of pinot grigio. The moussaka was so incredibly good! I don't think I've ever had better, and I'm a big fan of Greek cuisine. I sat out on the patio while I was there, and it was lovely to watch the people going by. I really enjoyed my meal and look forward to going back next time I'm in Vancouver.

We literally live a block accross this place. I walk in front of it almost daily, the owner with his classic bolle London hat is always smiling. The place always has patrons, the patio on the side street (Nelson) is nice and quiet with trees and the place is steps away from First beach on one side or the promenade on Coal Harbour side. We oder there on average in a year about once a month, more during winter less during summer. I am about to oder a delivery right now... Delicious leg of lamb or fantastic pizza? Olympia is a stapple in the WE, you go there for what it is. I do not understand ppl dissin' this place, it is like someone saying he was desapointed going to a baseball game because he wanted to watch opera. Cheers, Alain

The location on Denman by beach ideal. Outdoor patio superb. Roasted lamb lunch special great quality and quantity. Service friendly and fast
Went for lunch with family and sat on patio. Food and service was great. The lunch specials were very well priced for the meal received.

We went for a birthday dinner and the portions were generous. We ordered the Roast Lamb, Kalamari and Pepper Steak dinners. The service was pretty good and towards the end of the meal, I asked our server if anything was done for birthdays, his reply was 'no'. Well to our surprise Jon returned with a slice of chocolate layer cake (with 3 forks) and started to sing Happy Birthday and we joined in. The cake was so yummy!, thanks Jon for making my brother's birthday even more memorable! :)
