Renzo was so amazingly friendly and made us feel so welcome! It was a rainy night and he was able to move some tables together to get 4 of us seated quicker than expected. The food was delicious, some of the best gnocchi I've had in Vancouver. Renzo came by our table several times throughout our time there to make sure we had everything we needed. The house made canoli was amazing and he insisted we sample some gelato even though we were so full. As expected, the gelato was also incredible! Will definitely be back!

Onda is the sister to Casereccio in False Creek. This is a bit bigger and is in a great location by the creek. They are friendly and food is pretty good. I'll try their gelato next time.

Hi Onda! So Gusto was awesome and had this great happy hour (see picture), can you try and replicate it? Especially the mortadella panini. I tried your happy hour out today and it was totally different and more expensive :(

Delicious!! I got the panini and capacino very very good. They have italian sodas, pizzas and gelato as well. Feels super italian.

This place was so wonderful! When we walked in the whole place smelled like bread and the vibe was bubbly and welcoming. The staff was so kind and patient (we got confused about dine-in vs cafe stuff and they were super nice about it even though they were busy). We got the 4 cheese pizza and it was DELICIOUS. We also got both of the current special cocktails (cherry harvest one and a pumpkin spice one) and they were so good! I also got their honey pistachio strawberry cake thing and I will absolutely be back soon for another one haha. Even though they were really busy (7:30 Friday night) and even though we didn't order as much per person as a normal dinner table, no one rushed us and everyone was friendly, and they brought us extra plates and utensils for splitting. The food was FANTASTIC and very reasonably priced. We stumbled in here sort of on a whim just because it was close to the water, and I'm so glad we did! Can't recommend this place enough.

The staff are all Italian and warm and friendly. The pizza was absolutely delicious. The gelato was the best I’ve had in Vancouver.

I used to order Vancouver (salmon flat bread/pizza) at Gusto and their substitute at Onda is Pacifica which is too salty and too rich. I missed Gusto’s Vancouver pizza. The staffs here at Onda should be more welcoming and should greet customers with a smile. 👎Needs a lot of improvement when it comes to service (specially the cashier). The guy outside the counter who delivers the order is ok & friendly.

Stopped in for a coffee and a pastry at the end of a long run this morning. 10 out of 10 staff were so friendly. I’m very excited they opened in Olympic Village.

ONDA is OMG Amazing!

So delicious, we left beyond full as we couldn't stop eating. My partner and I shared everything, the focaccia, the caprese salad, the margherita pizza, the pasta.

I could have bathed in the olive oil - I forgot to ask the brand. (I will be back to find out this important piece of information though.)

Seriously, can not recommend it enough. The food is off the charts and the service is beyond attentive.

If you are looking for authentic Italian food in Vancouver, this is definitely a destination for you.

Visited Onda by Casereccio today for lunch.

I have to say that it was absolutely delicious!

Authentic homemade Italian cuisine at its very best made with so much passion and care.

The environment is comfortable and inviting, the service is friendly, attentive and spot on and the food is absolutely a culinary triumph!

Such a fantastic addition to our community. Alex and his team go above and beyond to ensure their guests are well taken care of and leave completely satiated.

Really looking forward to our next visit!

We dined in at the patio and ordered an Antipasto Misto for 2, Lasagna Bolognese, Tagliatelle Bolognese, and two glasses of wine.

- There were only two tables seated at the patio. The lasagna was dropped off at another table and the tagliatelle was dropped off at our table. Seems like whoever was running food that evening lacked any critical thinking and decided to run food based on who came first

- Appetizers came out after the entrees were halfway completed.

- Bolognese sauce barely had any ground beef and tasted quite bland
