Food - I ordered a Beef Dip and She had a Whiskey BBQ Burger. The Salads were really good. Lots of cheese on both good amount of dressing (I like heavy Dressing). My side Caesar had real bacon on it. Very nice touch! She liked her burger, lotsa fries the dill dip was really good. My beef dip bun was stale, not fully buttered the au-jus was basically french onion soup with way too much pepper. Cheese was melted but cold. Beef had almost no flavour. Not a $27 sandwich. Service - I asked a question about the beer - was ignored. Tried small talk she looked like she wanted to be at a funeral. Unengaged. Very poor. Less than 1 star. Over All - 2 drinks and 2 Handhelds for $90. - Completely not worth it. There is a MacDonalds across the street.

I had the West Coast Salad w/ chicken and it was great! Our server, Adam, was very welcoming and pleasant. Ribs were overcooked, so can't recommend. Prices are reasonable.

Quick bite before a show at QE. Fast and great service, diverse menus with family friendly choices. Short walk from QE. We had share plates and portions were way bigger than xpected.

I've lived across from Orginal Joe's since it opened. I'm not a massive fan of their food, much lower quality than places like Cactus Club, Earls
We have probably went 5 or 6x.
And honestly, almost everytime we've been, it felt like we were bothering the staff.

On Saturday we went in and asked to sit outside.
The restaurant was probably 30% full.
Took a while for the server to come but no big deal.

But we were seated directly in the sun and it was hot.
A group of 3 tables left, that were in the shade so I went in to ask the host if we could move tables.
Happens all the time in restaurants.
As I was talking to the host the incredibly rude bartender starts yelling we have to go wait outside.
Mind you, the bartender was already screaming and fighting with another customer.

I tried to explain to the bartender we are already seated and just want to change seats but she was being extremely hostile

So I sort ot threw up my hands and said I will just leave.

Went outside to get my wife and of course the nasty bartender had something to say when we were leaving.

She was probably the nastiest restaurant employee I have ever encountered.

We went over to District, which was much busier. They were incredibly nice and service was amazing.

Needless to say, I never really cared for Original Joe's, sort of a trashy place and food is subpar.
So I won't be going back.

food was disgusting , the table was very wobbly , worst table in there , place was empty but that's the one we could have , after telling the waitress the onion rings were cold when we got them , she basically snuffed us after that ! very hot and dingy in there , won't go back there

Yesterday before the Whitecaps game, we were with friends and being served by Shayla. From the start, she had a bad attitude, as if she didn’t want to be there. We got our drinks, and after waiting a long time, I politely asked if she knew how much longer the food would take. Her response was a very rude and challenging ā€œNO,ā€ with a bad look on her face—just for asking that simple question.

After that, we spoke with the manager, who apologized for her behavior, but by then the experience had already ruined our afternoon. I understand everyone can have a bad day (I’ve worked in the service industry myself), but customers should not have to deal with servers’ bad moods.

Food wasn't good, as simple as that. The cheese burger was dry and tasted bad. One bite and it stayed on the plate as is. No one serving our table asked whats wrong. And this applies to all of the dishes and drinks that we ordered. The beer didn't taste good but the atmosphere was so bad that we wanted to get up and leave. It was felt that when we were their they were understaffed. They let all of the guests feel that. That was our first and last visit.
