NEW TOWN BAKERY VANCOUVER Consistency is key ( hits the same everytime) The rice noodle with beef and a side of fermented bean chili 🌶️ ..(not super hot) and to add the noodles are not over cooked or over salted and flavour that is indeed incomparable to this savory delight at any other HK STYLE place .. A true wok experience with value,,,,
I highly recommend this dish .. also I leave with the best crueller type (sweet donut) … so many things to try 🙏🙏🔥🔥🔥🔥 I have to add: one of the best industry servers: Elaine is gracious and accommodating and professional to boot

Love this bakery! The owners are so friendly and lovely, and I am absolutely obsessed with their Spicy Szechuan Beef steam buns. Everything I’ve tried here has been great, and the butter tarts are also absolutely delicious. Absolutely would recommend.

I have been coming to Original New Town since I was a child. Nothing beats a fresh siopao from here. So soft and delicious and good amount of filling. The aunty that works here is also very nice.

This is a place to take away delicious treat. I love the BBQ pork bun, apple pockets , and the coconut buns when they're warm and fresh. The pastries are simple and good. The best thing about this place is Willie and Mary, though. They are the kindest souls that run this place. I've been going there for 15 years and they never fail to make me feel so cared for. Thank you Willie and Mary.

This is a classic! Siopao is definitely why we go here on purpose. Owners are very friendly, accommodating, and personable. Can't leave after a visit to Vancouver without bringing back Siopao from them. Highly recommended.

Mom and pop bakery selling delicious homemade bao. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Wouldn’t say it’s worth a trek.

They have the best Asado siopao here. I also bought the sweet sauce, and I loved it.

Lovely little mom and pop owned bakery shop. Their history goes back decades and they are related to the original new town bakery in Chinatown. The buns are amazing and so are the little sweets and cookies ! 10/10

Mom and pop stores make communities a better place.
Picked out a big box of goodies for my partner during finals and it was a lovely mix of savoury and sweet. He said everything has been amazing.

Got the bbq pork bao. It was just alright. A bit sour taste and too salty. The bun itself is very soft. Not the best but a decent one. Great customer service. And is cash or debit only
