What an amazing place to learn and experience coffee roasting! John is a kind and very friendly guy with a plethora of knowledge that he freely shares to those around him. I was lucky enough to try some sample roasting and shadow some larger batches. John is extremely experienced and I am so blessed to have crossed paths with him on my roasting journey! 10/10 amazing environment and amazing people.

I met the owner In Vancouver last year. Really nice guy, got chatting to him and he gave me two test roasts to try for free as well as inviting me to their coffee tasting! Really good Kenyan coffee with a great flavour profile. If I am ever back in the in the area will definitely try to reconnect with these guys!

John was roasting when we walked in and took time to explain his work with growers and the developing coffee scenes in all the places hes worked, and is still going out to find machines and promote quality and exploration in coffee. We took 4 different roasts on a sailing trip and enjoyed every one of them! Excellent light roasts

Consistent quality, I have been buying Johns Granville Island Blend for the past 3 years. Up until that time I was always experimenting with different flavors, one day he asked me “what are you looking for in your coffee “ I told him and he recommended G.I.B. It’s the perfect cup for me. John is a master of his craft!

Simple, cozy coffee roastery near the granville hotel.Coffee ☕ bean quality second to none & Koh who I met while getting my beans was such a gentleman polite & very coffee ☕ savy. Place was clean tidy & had some local chocolates for me to try ? such a nice experience to have on a rainy ☔ day

A very interesting place to visit and learn about coffee....

One of the best artisanal coffee roasters around. Does not offer brewed coffee, just roasted beans. Its main business is wholesale, but you can get a pound of their goodness if you knock on their door when they are open.

This place is epic! Quaint location for a coffee shop. He supplied me with a bag of PERU and I never looked back! I in Kelowna and I get coffee shipments from them.
