The steak visually looks good and fancy but it's not as good as the CHICKEN. Get that with 2 pastas and the garlic knots!
My experience here left a lot to be desired. We got the tasting menu which was very meat heavy. We were not served any seafood dishes as I had hoped. The angnolitti was mushy and did not enjoy the texture. The primrose pork chop was just ok. Altogether there was not standout dish which quite disappointing for an 89$ tasting menu.
Excellent all the way around! Friendly service, lots of interesting and delicious choices and nice neighborhood vibe. Best bolognese I have ever had and I've had a lot! Highly recommend.
We love this restaurant we go for special occasions. The food is delicious and the portions are perfect. The service is excellent! A true neighborhood gem!
Our server was very attentive and detailed . Also spoke slowly so we can hear the special and featured items. Pasta is 👌
One of the best dining experiences I have had as of late! Great wine, delicious menu and stellar service.
I'd definitely go again !! Home made pasta in a beef juice was excellent. Delicious coffee ice cream for dessert. Mega attentive service. Bar seat but planter straight in front of me was too large for position.
It was our anniversary dinner and everything was simply delicious. The staff helped planning our menu based on our preferences, and it could not have been better. Cocktails are really good too!
It's hard to not compare Savio to Elio, and as someone who loves and frequents Elio, Savio was okay. The ambience was nice and our server was nice as well, but nothing memorable. The food was very good, however the portions weren't worth the price for one of the pastas we got.
We loved the "family style" option as we got to try several items from the menu. Each course was delicious and we had plenty to eat! Lots of great drinks to choose from too. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Definitely will visit again.

Savio Volpe has become one of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver. Consistently excellent!
We visited Savio Volpe to celebrate my parents' anniversary while they were visiting from abroad, and it was the perfect choice. As a family of Italian food lovers, our expectations were high—and the experience exceeded every one of them. We opted for the "alla famiglia" menu, where the chef curates a full-course meal based on your preferences. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious—“amazing” doesn't quite do it justice! The food was beautifully complemented by warm, attentive service throughout the evening. I wholeheartedly recommend Savio Volpe for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable and flavorful Italian dining experience in Vancouver.
Another great meal at Savio volpe. Service was the perfect combination of speed, relaxed vibe and good humour. He dealt with our table with ease and it was really appreciated. A true pro! Food is always great. We will be back
We had the Alla Famiglia where in they ask your table a few questions to tailor the five course menu to your liking. We had Burrata, Kale salad (must try!), Tagliatelle alla bolognese, Tenderloin and a side of Grilled broccolini (another must try!) -everything tasted great. Their selection of negroni and spritz were amazing as well! Savio Volpe has a cozy and elegant atmosphere where there is no overpowering aroma of food, you can hear sounds of conversations but it is not loud. It is a great space for dinner parties with friends and family or couples on a date. The whole team is personable and attentive to guests. They ensure that everyone is having a great experience and all needs are addressed. The whole team provide fabulous service.
I had another great meal! It was my friend's first time so I let her order. Olives, Beet Salad, the Chef's selection of 3 salumi & 3 formaggi, grissini, marinated vegetables were our starters. I enjoyed the Saffron linguine, side stripe shrimp, aglio e olio, pangrattato immensely. My friend doesn't like spice and found it a bit spicy for her tastes. The meatballs were as tasty as ever and we tried the Fioretto cauliflower, pistachio, capers, egg which was cooked to perfection. By now we had already leftovers to take home but decided that the meal would not be complete without dessert. The seasonal cherry tiramisu was excellent. I will dream about it for weeks to come. Make sure you have a coffee or latte to complete your meal. The noise level on our visit was the loudest in all my visits. This is not something that should dissuade you from going but it would be difficult for those with hearing issues. I'm not old but it was hard to hear across the table.
