My experience at Savio Volpe was amazing! I have always wanted to try this restaurant ever since i’ve heard of it few yrs ago but unfortunately couldnt get in coz it’s hard to make a reservation. Glad i was able to get in this time. Me, my husband, my mom and in laws came over to celebrate our bday at this restaurant and it really surpassed our expectations. Our fave were the maple farm half chicken, primrose pork belly with scallops and green apple puree, tiramisu and amaretto bday ice cream! It was def chef’s kiss! Shout out to Steve for constantly checking on us making sure we were ok and we were enjoying our meal. We would love to go back again sometime in the future.

I've been to this restaurant twice.Once a year ago and then most recently last week. I didn't have the best food the first time. I found every dish very salty but that could have been me.. so I decided to give it another go with a few friends. To be very honest, it was still very salty for me. The place was packed, the service was good, vibe was good just the food was really subpar for me.. I don't think I'd be going back in all honesty but they definitely have a fan base. So try for yourself!

April 2024 update: very sadly and unfortunately downgrading savio volpe to 3 stars. I made a reservation for 5 people and opted for the tasting menu for my brothers birthday celebration. The server was impeccable but the actual food and timeliness was questionable.Evening started great. Sparkling water and a bottle of red wine to start. 7:09pm, we get a beautiful plate of charcuterie, a deep fried pork appetizer and two bowls of kale salad promptly. Not bad and pretty good. Kale salad was a little bland - just tasted like salt but it was fine for salad. That’s when our experience soured. We waited ONE HOUR for the next round of food to arrive. This, to me, is unacceptable. We were starving and our server could only keep refilling our water …8:11pm rolls around. We get risotto and two bowls of pasta. Portions were quite small for 5 people and we waited an HOUR. The long swirly pasta dish with capers was just so mediocre and bland. The tagliatelle, however, was the star. The redeeming part of our dinner…Now we wait again. 30 more minutes. Finally, main main entree at 8:40pm. Finally, steak, chicken, potatoes, broccolini. These all tasted good by the way, but at this point we were just miffed by the late timing. And at last, dessert. We just wanted to leave at this point. 9:25pm, tiramisu and cannoli. Tasted great by the way. Loved the airiness and flavors.Overall… I don’t think I would do the tasting menu again. Quite disappointed. I would only order the tagliatelle and broccolini and call it an evening.—Wow. 10/10 experience. Food, service, ambiance, vibes, everything! In Preston we trust. Preston was a phenomenal server and gave us the most amazing experience and culinary adventure. The three of us dined alla famiglia at $75 each for appetizers, two pastas, an entree and dessert. We loved being able to try as many things as possible and Preston asked us what we liked and didn’t like to curate the dishes and experiences.Every bite was amazing. For starters, we had the halibut croquettes. It was on special tonight and it was nice and crispy with a great aioli. Served next was the charcuterie board with an assortment of meats, grapes and plums. The star for me was the salad - wow. The dressing was stunning.Pastas were perfectly cooked. The spaghetti was so tasty and reminded us of an elevated carbonara of sorts. The other pasta whose name I forget but looked like/named after a rooster head was equally stunning. The entree - the feature specials - butterflied grilled fish, served with grilled zucchini and this eggplant stew. The fish was so soft but not over cooked and served over corn and beans. The eggplant stew was tasty but a tad oily. The star was the zucchini. Just grilled perfectly with a nice mint twist. A restaurant that makes vegetables taste good is truly a keeper.Dessert - we shared the feature gelato which was unreal - it tasted like a terry’s orange. I would’ve bought a whole gallon of it. The chocolate tart was also amazing - perfect dark chocolate, not too sweet with sea salt and pine nuts on top. I personally could have gone workout the olive oil.We also had a ton of great cocktails and wines recommended by Preston. Ended off the night with a digestivo - which is meant to be sipped and not taken like a shot! Preston recommended me a drink with an orange undertone to match the gelato, but my friends also really enjoyed the no. 82 amaretto and limoncello.Stunning meal, 10/10!

TLDR; Excellent quality food and even better service. Special shoutout to our server Pascale for going above and beyond to make my girlfriend and I's night a special one. You're a gem!Truly a 10/10 experience. Many talk about the food here (rightly so) but what I want to emphasize is the service. I came for my birthday dinner with my girlfriend and we were seated on a busy Sunday night.Pascale served us and she was a class act and absolutely outstanding! Strong professionalism, a hilarious personality and warm service, with all the know-how. She informed us of specials and as first-timers, the ethos of Savio Volpe: a family-style eatery with a focus on sharing.Never had an empty glass of water the whole night too.We ordered the Ciabatta and Grilled Broccolini to start. Ciabatta was fluffy, fresh and buttery, and massive. Broccolini was fresh, had a deep smokiness from the grill and had excellent bite to it.For mains, we ordered the Pork Ragu Guanciale Tagliatelle and the Saffron Linguine with Side Stripe Shrimp. Top of our lsit for pastas we've ever had, bar none. Perfectly toothsome and al dente handmade pastas with both rich sauces and delicately seasoned offerings on each. Both highly recommend. It being a busy Sunday night, the entrées took longer than expected but was not anything out of the ordinary for us to note. Leela, the GM, took the liberty to offer meatballs from the kitchen on the house for our patience. To me, it was less that we now had meatballs with a delicious marinara sauce on the table, but more of the principle and gesture to have that done for us out of respect for the longer wait that spoke volumes and really elevated our experience. Excellent management and a great team to back it up. Pascale and Leela, you're the best! We'll absolutely be back soon. If you haven't tried this place out, let this long review be your sign.

The food is amazing although many of the pasta dishes were sold out for the night which was quite disappointing. I was really looking forward to trying the saffron linguini - oh well I guess that just means we’ll have to come back and get an earlier reservation! Be sure to get the gelato for dessert. It’s very good!

I dined here a few weeks ago with friends to celebrate a birthday. As usual, the food was excellent. Our server, Nate, was wonderful! We dined alla famiglia and he did such a great job picking out dishes to suit our tastes. Thanks Nate for your great service. You elevated the dining experience at Savio even more!

Went for my wife's birthday dinner. Delicious food and good service. The highlight of the night was the focaccia and the Agnolotti pasta, which I would recommend asking for the bread to come out with the pasta and main course so you can scoop up all the delicious sauces.

Had a fantastic dinner while travelling for work. They have great options for solo diners with smaller portions so you can try a bunch of different dishes. I had the mushroom arancini, 1/2 portion of kale salad, meatballs, triangoli with ricotta nettles preserved lemon, and broccolini. I finished my meal with their homemade white chocolate peppermint gelato. Excellent service and wine/beer options. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: olives, bread, salads, pasta, risotto
