My company books me into the Pinnacle Harbourfront hotel quite often (I like the hotel very much) but I generally avoid the P2B Bistro. P2B Bistro would be very convenient as it is right in the hotel lobby but I have yet to have a pleasant experience there. Generally, the service is very slow and the demeanour of the staff is at best indifferent. There are too many amazing restaurants within 2 blocks of this hotel to waste your time at P2B Bistro.
They can do better,
Service--- discrimination against minority people, had to ask for everything, no plates given for appetizers, Refill for water. Didn't even ask if we needed desserts or anything else. First and last time.
No acknowledgement at the front desk.
Food was alright.

If you are at pinnacle harborfront go to P2B and ask for James! Best dam server ever! Polite, professional and has a great sense of humor! Make one hell of a espresso martini

Food was decent, but the service was arrogant and basically non existent. Sat through my whole meal with an empty glass of water and without anyone ever coming to check how the food was. You definitely get the discriminated vibe from the old server if you're not caucasian. The view is decent though but I do not recommend coming here.

My service and the ambiance was wonderful. This restaurant was in a hotel, which is fine, but I would've probably gone somewhere else. The dishes that I ordered were very good and I would likely order them again. I found the portion size for the price to be high, but that's eating in a hotel.

Bright and airy. High ceilings. Big widows. Nice ambiance. Outside patio area with outside heaters. Good service. Good menu. Reasonable prices. Ordered the calamari to start and a grilled rib eye steak with mushrooms, mashed potatoes and prawns. Surf n turf.

Pretty good hotel restaurant. It tends to get super busy during peak times, but it's very quiet any other time. Food is pretty good, which makes it great value with hotel's $15 off vouchers for lunch.

Have you ever visited a restaurant, ended up having an issue, yet you left with such satisfaction and a feeling of complete joy, that it didn't even matter? Yup, that happened to me here at P2B Bistro and Bar. They are located inside Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront. (The review of the hotel is posted separately) This is my first time in Vancouver. Dinner my first night here, at P2B, was delicious. Happy hour from 3-6 includes some great choices. Ours were a beautiful charcuterie board with a diverse selection for $18. A sourdough and olive oil plate that includes an olive tapenade and balsamic $9. Probably one of the best sourdough breads I've ever had. The Italian espresso martini $12, was outstanding. They put their own twist on it. I've never had one before, so I don't know the difference. But this one was money! Has anyone ever flown to another country just for a cocktail? Haha, I can dream. On to dinner. We shared a dish, Linguine Puttanesca $24. The flavor was exquisite. The spice of it was perfectly balanced with the salty capers and rich tomato sauce. It was split into 2 plates (pictured) so the half portion size in each bowl was just perfect, since having indulged in appetizers and still wanting dessert. Vacationing allows me a reason to splurge sometimes and I'm glad I did. Dessert was magnificent. House made crème brûlée $13, was one of the best I've ever tasted. The rich, yet delicate custard was decadent with a perfectly hardened, caramelized sugar topping. Topped with fresh fruit and a small biscotti its presentation was outstanding. Affogato was also ordered. It was the perfect harmony of hot and cold. Creamy vanilla ice cream with the bold, hot espresso, created a delicious combination of balanced sweet and bitter. It too was served with a small biscotti. (Yes, I dunked, lol) We enjoyed outside patio dining with a beautiful view of the water and surrounding city. It was so nice. Did I mention an issue? Hardly worth mentioning except that it brought me to meeting the manager, Samantha. She has to be one of the best people, in her position, that I've ever met. Sometimes things happen for a reason and tonight that reason was to be able to meet her. She was professional, kind, thoughtful and absolutely delightful. The interaction with her was the cherry on the sundae to this whole amazing dinner experience. I highly recommend P2B Bistro and Bar if you are staying at the hotel. It's worth the visit even if you're not.

We had happy hour drinks here and appreciated the live music. We decided to stay for dinner. All the staff were good but a special shout out for our waiter, Lulzim. He was unobtrusively attentive and very professional. He added enormously to our very enjoyable evening.

Very cute restaurant! The food is delicious—I got the pancake, scrambled eggs, and bacon. Service was exceptional and the tables all have different types of jelly!
