Couldn't ask for a better location if you want to be close to everything downtown Vancouver has to offer. Minutes walk from Gastown, Pacific Centre, attached to the VCC, waterfront trail, and sky train is a minute away.

Service at the hotel was amazing. I had an issue in the room the 2nd evening of a 9 night stay, and the manager on duty, Georgina, went above and beyond to ensure that the situation was resolved in a manner that was more than acceptable to both parties. I must note that the issue was that of a small plumbing situation causing some leaking water. Something that happens to any building infrastructure. It was a 2 hour room inconvenience. The same manager also followed up throughout the stay and even emailed a thank you upon my return back to Toronto.

I was on the trip for business and then had a few extra days booked for pleasure to explore Vancouver with my husband.

I had a club room on the 21st floor and it was spacious and modern. The views were great. There are no other immediate buildings to get in the way of views on any side of the building.

The bathroom was modern and clean. The LeLabo assortment of products with the very exclusive Santal 33 scent was an amazing surprise, I miss them dearly.

Lots of pillow styles to choose from for your sleep.

The valet service was great. It only took the first drop off for the valet staff to remember my name. The room service was great. I would recommend the pancakes or French toast. We also had the omelette and continental breakfast with bacon on another day. Prices are high, but to be expected for the luxury of it. I wouldn't recommend the berry dish for $16, a bit small, in my opinion.

A few notes about the establishment, on my visit, only 2 of 4 elevators in a 23-story building were working, and during the weekend of the auto show, it led to waits to get up to your room. Sometimes, multiple loads would have to go before you could get on. It didn't help that the down escalator for the lobby to exit was also not working.

I also expected higher quality towels and face cloths for a luxury hotel. The same goes for the comforter between the sheets on the bed. That surprised me the most.

I quite enjoyed the nightly turndown service. Especially the filling of the ice bucket. I don't drink alcohol but enjoy ice in my beverages after a long day.

Overall, I would definitely stay again. Mainly because the staff is so nice, the location is great and the views are amazing. My stay would depend on the going rates, which were reasonable in March.

Rooms: Floors 21 - 23 are the club rooms with access to the lounge on the 23rd floor. They also offer exclusive products in the bathroom and a nightly turndown service.

Closest hotel to harbor, beautiful view, great location. 2 things were kind of annoying, their elevators which are slow and half of them don’t even work. Second is their windows which are not good quality dual pane and you have street/harbor noise. Overall it was a good experience.

Nearby activities: Shopping and food

The view and location were incredible. Tons of great restaurants around to eat at. The service at this hotel was top notice but the rooms were a bit dated and the room service was great. Highly recommend the stay if you can afford it!

I've been staying here since I was a child and was excited to bring my family on our spring break trip. Unfortunately the experience left us not wanting to return.
-the bellhops were arrogant
-only 2 elevators were in service for all 3 days of our stay and they obviously took forever, sometimes stopping at each floor going down as everyone was waiting but it would be too full for more guests
-the price for parking was absurd at $56/day
-my toddler found a Tylenol on the ground in our room, luckily I was right there to watch him pick it up
-my husband hated that the fitted sheet was not fitted and was just a flat sheet that bunched up under him
-the fitness gym is the worst hotel gym I've ever seen, you have to go into the parkade to access it and it's old and tiny with minimal equipment

The location is the win, as it always has been but we will choose a different hotel in the area for our next visit.

Ridiculous. $500/ night and there were someone else French fries on the floor when we came into the room, hair in the shower, and a broken fridge. This place is a joke

The location is fantastic. The beds are very comfortable. The room is very clean. The shower is great. The biggest downfall is there are not enough outlets in the room to plug-in devices. One side of the bed does not have outlets at all.

Pretty decent hotel. Very nice views. The rooms themselves are clean and well-maintained. I’ve stayed here a few times and only the last time I had a few minor issues. There was poor noise isolation and I was able to hear more than I wanted to hear from the adjacent room, the water pressure and temperature was not very desirable and they did not leave the appropriate toiletries in the bathroom.

The surface here is really good so I’m sure if I had complained. They would’ve sorted me out right away. I was only there for two nights so I didn’t bother. Would consider staying here again.

The hotel is a bit dated, but the location is great. Handy to the cruise terminal, North Vancouver Ferry, and the Waterfont Metro station.
Lovely front desk staff are happy to assist.

Stayed for our 10 year anniversary last week. We were so excited as we have always wanted to stay here.
We would never stay again. The rooms are very dated. Our bed was likely from the 90’s. Our toilet seat was the wrong size for the toilet so when you sat you felt the inside rim not just the seat. The lobby was SOO BUSY! Everyday. All day. Y network was down and we did not have wifi for our whole weekend. We called room service for 2 plates for our cake we had bought. They said over 2hr wait!!!! We purchased a package that included a Chinese new year welcome amenity, we never received that.
We also had our dog with us, paid the pet fee nightly which is normal. We had forgot our dog water bowl so we had asked to borrow a bowl. We got two dog bowls delivered SOOO DIRTY. Looked like it came straight from 10 rooms before ours. We went to a local store and bought a bowl.
Not cool!!!!!!
The parking metre was out of order for the parkade. On our first night we were waiting in a lobby line up for 20min and then we saw one staff member and discussed the parking situation with him. He told us to not wait in the line up because we should enjoy our trip. And if we got a ticket before the metre was working they would reimburse us. We did receive a ticket. We waited the next day for quite some time to get to the lobby counter for them to tell us sorry there staff member( will not name) shouldn’t have said that because they can’t reimburse us. Now we owe $200 parking tickets from false information of their STAFF.

Overall. Quote disappointed that we expected this to be an amazing hotel that stood to its name but it was not for us.

I would not recommend staying at the Pan Pacific Vancouver.

Our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. Despite the listed 4 PM check-in time, we arrived at 5 PM with our 3.5-year-old child, only to be told our room was not ready — with no estimate of when it would be available. After waiting an hour, we called the front desk at 6 PM and were told our room was ready. When we returned, we were informed that the room was not, in fact, available. This delay meant we were unable to use any of the hotel’s facilities that evening, which was especially difficult for our child, who had been looking forward to swimming and cried for hours that he missed it.

Eventually, we were placed in a room with two double beds instead of the king room we had booked , that was empty of hand soap?— without a clear explanation that this was considered an upgrade. The lack of communication from staff made the entire process more stressful than it needed to be.

Parking was another frustrating experience. The front desk simply told us to check the machines downstairs. It was FIFTY SIX DOLLARS FOR TWELVE HOURS OF PARKING!! We ended up parking across the street at the Fairmont for $65 a night and walked our luggage back to the hotel in the rain — only to find out , the next day, because they told someone near us, that valet parking was available for $75, which would have saved us the whole hassle.

To top it all off, we were overcharged on our final bill. While we appreciate the breakfast vouchers as a goodwill gesture — and the breakfast was genuinely excellent — it didn’t make up for the poor communication, lack of care, and overall inconvenience that set the tone for our entire stay.

For the price point of this hotel, I expected a much higher level of service and professionalism. I would not return or recommend it to others and am sincerely disappointed that this ruined half our trip.

Room was ok. I like my room warm but AC didn't really work. Room became so dry. Location is good.

We had 2 days here at the end of our Canadian holiday. The hotel were very good in giving us and early checkin and checkout.
The 2 staff that we dealt with very nice.
I personally didn't like the area this hotel was in, the streets surrounding it had alot of homelessness and we didn't feel safe to walk around at night, to look around the city, so we stayed close to Canada Place, which was OK being around the harbour.
My only gripe was breakfast at 47 CAD per person was too expensive, you are already paying well over $320 a night, breakfast should be included, especially for those of us that like just a coffee and a bowl of cereal.
So we had Starbucks coffee each morning, which is conveniently located near the entrance of the hotel.

Disappointing rooms for the prices they charge. Service can use more education on customer service.
