Best coffee in the city, and amazing baked goods. The space itself is eclectic and relaxing, and the owner supports local artists by displaying their works ❤️ my favorite spot

I can’t believe I have lived by this place for so long and didn’t go! I came here the other morning and had a LOVELY chai latte + a fantastic croissant . Staff was so sweet , the place is so cute . I will DEFINITELY be coming back here again!!!

Nice. Good. Great service. Baking in house. It's the coffee shop of choice in the neighborhood:)

Came in with a reusable cup that was 16oz. Their menu said 16oz was $4.00 for an americano. Was charged $4.50 (no tax; GST holiday). Not sure what to make of it, so I just considered it an enforced tip and didn’t add the 20% ($0.90) I would normally add for the grinding, distribution, tamping, and lever-pulling service.

Coffee was güt.

Not sure what gram size their portafilters use but the 16oz had a buzz-worth four shots and I was asked beforehand if I wanted all four ounces in.

Barista was a bit rough on the edges. Win some lose some.

The perfect version of a neighborhood coffee. Great vibe, cute back patio, wicked art work, simple aesthetic, great coffee and an even better croissant. Super grateful to have this close by.

coffee and food are good. The woman who works here doesn’t even try to hide her distain of customers entering the door which is honestly pretty funny. I’d come back.

I don’t write a lot of google reviews but what I just experienced needs some recognition. I just moved into the mount pleasant hood and I was told by many to check out The Paper Crane for my morning coffee. And that’s exactly what I did this morning, and I had a spiritual experience. Not only were the people working there so nice, they welcomed me into the hood and like genuinely connected with me. But their product is also amazing. I’m writing this review now as I sit outside , I just sipped my iced americano and had to close my eyes for a second. Here’s the thing, I drink an iced americano with oat milk every day, that’s just the move for me. So I’ve had a lot of them. But this one just was so amazing. It was smooth and chocolaty, I find sometimes with iced espresso drinks they can be acidic but not at this spot. Maybe it’s the coffee beans, maybe it’s the dope people making the coffee, whatever it was, it was delicious. ALSO, I got the Turkey havarti croissant , and ate it like a toddler outside , I couldn’t help myself it was just so good. I wish I took photos of the croissant but I just ate it too fast! All this to say, if you come to mount pleasant and you need an amazing cup of coffee, you gotta come to The Paper Crane.
