A very good restaurant near the sea: welcome, service and food are excellent. It is an Oyster bar too. Prices are ok and happy hours prices appreciated. As French guys visiting Vancouver, we warmly recommend!

I recently visited Papy’s restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the ambiance was delightful with beautiful views. Our server, Pariya, was not only friendly but also provided excellent service throughout our meal. I highly recommend trying the labsterroll; it was a standout dish. Overall, Papy’s offers a wonderful dining experience, and I will definitely be returning for more delicious meals.

We were a group of 7 and we were all satisfied with the food served.The GM Barret made sure our experience was delightful.Hats off to the legend Joshua for delivering phenomenal service.I definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for quality food and service.

Initially coming into the restaurant we encountered unprofessional behaviour. However, the manager Barret dealt with the situation positively very kind and attentive and lead to a great experience over all. The food was also wonderful everything was so fresh and delicious. Would definitely come again. We had a waiter named Joshua he was so wonderful and attentive with a positive attitude. Gave us wonderful suggestions on the menu. For food would definitely recommend fish and chips, the lobster rolls and calamari.

I am writing to share feedback on my recent dining experience at your restaurant on april 8, which I had eagerly anticipated due to your excellent reputation.Regrettably, my experience fell short of the expectations I had. Firstly, I encountered an issue with the all the food I ordered; it was not only served cold but also had a foreign object (a hair) in it. Additionally, despite the restaurant not being busy at the time, there was an unusually long wait of approximately 45 minutes for the food to arrive at my table.I fully understand that unexpected challenges can occur in any service environment, and my aim in writing is not to criticize harshly but rather to convey my experience in the hope that it might be constructive. Ensuring food quality, hygiene, and timely service are critical components of customer satisfaction, and I believe addressing these areas could greatly enhance the dining experience for future patrons.I remain appreciative of the efforts your team makes to provide a pleasant dining atmosphere and am hopeful that my feedback will be received in the spirit of fostering improvement. Great place and personnel. I ordered a Shrimp Roll, which was good, but the fries on the side were too oily and salty.Just something came up: we ordered oysters and found a tiny live creature creeping around in the shell after eating. We initially thought it was a worm and discussed this with the waiter. He took the dish to show it to the manager or other colleagues. After a while, he returned and assured us it was a baby shrimp, telling us "it was the last meal of the oyster!!”. We chose to trust him at that moment, however, I think they should address our concern more properly. I've attached the photo. Unfortunately, it's not possible to upload the video here!
