Food is great, service is as friendly as you'll get at a Chinese restaurant, atmosphere is loud. May not be your cup of tea if you're looking for a peaceful, slow paced meal.

Highly recc the king crab. We've ordered it here several times and it's always been juicy! The fried garlic version is not as spicy as other locations, but still tasty overall.

Make sure to make a reso for dinner though - gets quite busy, even on weekday evenings.

Being a white dude, I am reluctant to opine on chinese food generally but I will say the crispy skin chicken is the best in town.

This is the first time that we visit here for early dinner. It's getting very busy at the dinner time on Thursday. The services are still good when they are getting busy. I think it is a popular spot in this neighbourhood.
We order 2 combos. Each combo goes with free choice 3 dishes in the combo menu but the menu is good.
The food comes out fresh, hot and big portions. We only have 9 people. So we have to pack it into few boxes for different family.
It's good for bigger family for dinner unless you have to pack a few boxes home. The price is reasonable.
The combo starts from $138 to $178. There are lots of choices for you.

We came here for our Father’s Day dinner and our experience was pleasantly surprising.

I’ve been hearing positive reviews from word of mouth and finally decided to check the restaurant out. We did attempt to come here once for Dim Sum and was given a conservative estimate for 45 mins so reservations is a must! So we made our dinner reservations early, had no issues at all and was seated promptly.

They were hoppin’ due to the special occasion and appeared understaffed. It took awhile to place in our order (set menu) and when the food started rolling out, it was dish after dish with large portions and loads of flavour.

The set menu consisted of complimentary soup as a starter, then our lobster and crab (your choice in how they served it), along with other dishes we picked from a list. They had sold out on their “jello” as dessert but the red bean soup was still yummy (and included with the set menu)!

The main issue we had wasn’t the food but their A/C which apparently was causing problems. So you can imagine a really stuffy environment with an active leak from the ceiling. They ended up placing a bucket to catch the faucet of water that kept splashing on us and the table seated beside us when they finally turned the A/C on.

Overall, the food was solid. The portions, again, were generous and the cost was really reasonable. We’ll have to come again to see how their service truly is (not during a high stressed occasion) and when they’ve fixed the A/C.

(N.B. The photo does not do the dishes justice. We gobbled everything down before remembering to take any pictures! My bad!)

Very good restaurant for dim sum and it is close to my aunt. We often come here. This day I notice there is one yellow umbrella on the ceiling. Our waiter told me I am the second person who noticed it. He says it is for decoration, and I'd wonder if it has a political reason.

Came here one day before Mother's Day for dim sum to avoid the crazy lines. We had made a reservation but still had to wait 1/2 hour for a table which wasn't good. We ordered a large number of dim sum including a lobster with yee mein special. Overall the food was delicious however the service was mediocre as I assume they had limited servers as we tried multiple times to flag down someone to refill our tea or to pay for the bill. If they had may 1 or 2 more servers then this experience would have been much better but will consider coming back to try out their dinner.

Great service and friendly staff. Very tasty Chinese dishes.
I liked fried eggplant and beef and fried shrimp dishes. I recommend the place for family and friends' meet-ups.

Witnessed the person seating customers accept money to seat another guest first.

This Paramount is not very big. However, the big ones account for the majority, and there are only five small ones with three to four positions. The good thing is that there are not enough manpower.

Let's try the "Crab Meat and Fish Maw Soup" first. It's standard, not salty, not bland, not too strong. The only fly in the ointment is that when the soup starts to warm up, the water in the soup will turn over. The "chicken drizzled with scallion oil" is just right, soft and easy to eat, the chicken skin is refreshing, and the scallion oil sauce is just right, not salty, not bland, not sweet. "Bazhen Tofu Pot" is made with seafood, shrimp balls and scallops. It has no fishy smell and is delicious. "Dry-roasted noodles with mixed mushrooms" is very good. It is easy to eat and there is no oily smell of noodles. Instead, the smell of the wok offsets everything.

I don’t know, next time I come again, will the quality be as expected?
