This Paramount is not very big. However, the big ones account for the majority, and there are only five small ones with three to four positions. The good thing is that there are not enough manpower.
Let's try the "Crab Meat and Fish Maw Soup" first. It's standard, not salty, not bland, not too strong. The only fly in the ointment is that when the soup starts to warm up, the water in the soup will turn over. The "chicken drizzled with scallion oil" is just right, soft and easy to eat, the chicken skin is refreshing, and the scallion oil sauce is just right, not salty, not bland, not sweet. "Bazhen Tofu Pot" is made with seafood, shrimp balls and scallops. It has no fishy smell and is delicious. "Dry-roasted noodles with mixed mushrooms" is very good. It is easy to eat and there is no oily smell of noodles. Instead, the smell of the wok offsets everything.
I don’t know, next time I come again, will the quality be as expected?

Food is plentiful & a good assortment. Just be ready to eat quick because they pump every dish out like in 5mins! ?. Just like most chinese restaurants, space is tight.

The food was very good and the service was also great. However, it was so noisy at the restaurant especially the people in one table were talking sooo loud as they were yelling at each other!! That really spoiled our dinner.

Great food dish, tastes good. The chicken is so tender, but it's never completely cooked, which is dangerous.
It's noisy, thin, and dirty. There are flies all around. .
The most surprising thing was Aunt D's pair of gloves. . . So scary. . Hold the platform and tie it to the canal, take the new bowl and tie it to the canal again. . Sliced skin ducks are all tied to canals. . No hand washing. . Sitting close to the counter, I felt sick. . .
Food portion is generous, taste is acceptable.
It is a very chaotic dining room. Noisy, small. and dirty.... Fruit Flies everywhere...?
What gross me out is the never washed pair of gloves on their waitress.... they use the same pair of gloves for cleaning tables, setting up tables, getting new bowls and cutlery.... they would not wash their hands ie . gloves from one task to another...
it is very gross to see.
I couldn't enjoy the dinner seeing all these....
I wrote this is for them to pay attention... if they would ever care...

This restaurant is always busy for dim sum and dinner. Food is tasty with good portions. The dessert soup comes out hot. Prices are very reasonable. Servers very friendly and helpful. We have been coming here for years.

Our party of 9 including three kids were promptly seated during a noon booking.
As hot sauce lovers! We had to ask at least 5 times go get it. Appeared they are short staff and had guests waiting at the door.
Calamari was crispy but was marinated to the core! Lacked flavor. Pricing is comparable to any other dim sum places around East Van. Size was not stingy at all!
Fried durian ball did not disappoint - a must try!
Would come back again!
Underground parking is available but we just parked around the block where there was free parking.

Amazing dinner service, been here 3x already and they provide big portions, bang for the buck, great service, and help you cut your birthday cake each time and divide it up for everyone. Can get busy so reservations are recommended. Free underground parking downstairs, however, it’s limited but tons of free neighbourhood parking around the restaurant.
