It’s definitely a cute space — very atmospheric, and every detail feels super cozy😍The “crème brûlée” tea is my personal favorite. The panna cotta was okay and the profiterole with cream was decent, but the rest of the food was disappointing.
In particular, the cucumber sandwiches were served on very dry bread.

Food: The high tea starts with a nice chicken and potato casserole, but disappointment follows with the tea tower. The cucumber sandwich, usually the simplest to make, had an odd taste, as if the cream cheese was mixed with an unusual sauce. The egg salad was mediocre, the croissant was forgettable, and the worst was the crab cone—the crab paste was terrible, and we couldn't eat more than a bite. The pastries were decent, clearly made in-house, but nothing special. *You only get one tea flavour!* While you can request extra hot water, there's no option to switch teas, unlike other high tea spots.
Atmosphere: 10/10! The house, decor, tables, and even the bathroom were beautifully designed and clean. Everything had a minimalist yet luxuriously antique feel. If you could go just for tea and scones, it would be worth it.
Service: Unlike other high tea experiences, the server didn’t explain the tea tower items or help with tea selection. Even though we disclosed an allergy concern, the server didn’t identify which items contained allergens when brought to the table. Used plates piled up, and despite being at a large table, it felt cramped for two people until we had to call her over and ask to free up some space. Additionally, staff stored their personal items in a closet by our table, so they frequently reached over us or got dressed/undressed right beside us, which felt awkward and unprofessional. While the server was polite, we constantly had to wave her down to request more hot water or cutlery, as she never checked in on us.
Overall, I would rate this place 6.5/10—mostly for the unique house, location, and decor. If judging solely on food and service, it wouldn’t rate nearly as high.

A patisserie store in a beautiful heritage’s building.
I recommend who enjoy snack but doesn’t like too sweet to try their macaron and panna cotta!😋
Also enjoy their service very much!❤️

Went here with a friend in a weekend. It was a nice experience. The place was not that big but it was cozy and nicely decorated for a tea time atmosphere. The service was great and the staff were really nice. I enjoyed the selection of the tea time items both sweet and savory. Initially I thought it will not be enough but we ended up taking home few pieces as we weren’t able to finish it.My favorite among all the items is the panacotta. It was so smooth and creamy, the panacotta that I’ve tried so far.

Omg! I can’t with the beauty of this place!! We had the high tea experience and it was amazing! The food is delicious -everything so tasty-all of it!-, the decoration is perfect, the atmosphere so enjoyable and the staff do a great job! I really have an incredible and dreamy, amazing day with my friend. The music is pleasant and at great volume for a conversation. We enjoyed the downstairs store as well, everything is so pretty!!! ?
I’m in love and definitely will be back again.

A very aesthetically pleasing place to visit for afternoon tea! An oasis of Europe surrounded by high-rise buildings of a busy city.
Good service, good tea, delicious food. Not like a luxury high tea experience from London but more like a cozy afternoon tea with your grandma.

One of the best high teas I've had! The cucumber cream cheese sandwich and quiche were my favorite, but you couldn't go wrong with anything on the menu. The venue was cute and it would be very nice for a girls day.

Cute little place to come for high tea. Love the exterior of the building as this restaurant is basically located in a house.Overall the food quality was decent for the price as it is cheaper than other places. I liked the teacup pots as well. The peach tea was my favourite.

DO NOT COME HERE! Came here on mothers day, they wanted to kick us out after 60 minutes, saying our reservation was booked as short. We never booked a short reso. The manager came out and was being defensive and argumentative. That was humiliating…just wanted to spend time with my mom on her day. The waitress came by and took our plates without us being finished. Not worth the money or the waste of time of coming here. Awful service, awful costumer treatment.

Incredibly disappointing experience, even giving 1 star is generous! We had high expectations for this place from the pictures but everyone in our group collectively agreed with how bad of an experience it was. The lack of decent customer service and hostility is a start. The lady with her hair tied back was very passive aggressive and rude with us, almost as if she wanted us to leave the moment we entered the place, which made us really uncomfortable! The atmosphere and the interior is nothing too special, there are other high tea places in Vancouver that are far better than this one. The tray that is shown in the picture is shared between 3 people but is 60$ after the mandatory service fee and taxes. You’d be expecting a lot more for the price you’re paying but sadly the tray only included 1 sandwich per person that doesn’t even taste good and the sweets were either too sour or too sweet. First and last time coming to this place!!
Vegetarian options: Should be informed upon the reservation date or else they will give you an attitude.

?☕ Enchanted Afternoon Tea at Patisserie Fur Elise with Family ?????????? Our family's weekend afternoon tea at Patisserie Fur Elise was like stepping into a storybook. The Victorian ambiance, paired with exquisite pastries and teas, made for a magical escape in downtown Vancouver. Each treat, from the delicate sandwiches to the sumptuous sweets, was a delight to the senses. The kids were enchanted by the elegant setting and the delicious selections tailored just for them. It was a memorable experience that blended sophistication with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. A perfect blend of culinary excellence and ambiance that we'll treasure. ??
