This is one of my favourite spots for hot cross buns. I have to say that this time I was so disappointed. The hot cross buns typically are light in colour and soft and yummy with the custard cross. Mine came from a tray in the back so I couldn’t see and just assumed they would be as on display. When I got home with my bag I opened it to darker overdone buns. At the price they are I wasn’t happy. But more importantly we look forward to this treat each Easter and didn’t enjoy them year. It would have been nice if the server had asked if I was ok with darker buns. Maybe some people enjoy them that way.

This place is great. Their food is fantastic, staff friendly. And prices are very reasonable.

They have a great selection of waffles from miniature snack size to savory to belgian. You can eat 1 everyday and not be bored. Breakfast waffle had great flavor and the runny egg was just perfect.
I also tried the curry chicken sandwich which I think was lacking a bit flavor. Maybe the other plentiful selection of sandwich would be better.
The chai latte was on par with coffee shop nearby. So no complaints there.
They have wholesale options if you are up to task of making your own waffle at home.
The staff has always been friendly and serve you with a smile.
They have points reward system too. It pays to be a member of the clubhouse.

I have to leave this review because I come here every single day. But the guy who works at the counter is so rude and just plain mad every single day. He’ll just burn my coffee, pretend he can’t understand me and ignore me, hell twice in the last 2 weeks he forgot to ring in the item and I had to tell him he under charged.
With him aside. Best bakery in Vancouver. Love it lol.

I was in the area dress shopping and came across this bakery- omg am I so glad I walked in! I started with an almond milk London fog which was to die for, you can tell the tea quality is great. And then my eyes came across the RICE PIE?! If you’re a fan of German rice pudding or just rice pudding / vanilla custard in general YOU HAVE TO TRY. The pastry is perfectly crisp and buttery and the flavour of the rice pudding custard. I will seriously be back next weekend for my next dress appointment, but even after that- worth the trip from North van. Thank you also to the lovely gentleman that helped me at the till, overall great experience!!

Don't advertise you're open till 4pm on Sunday Oct 13 but lock the door and cross arm and wave no to me at 3:15pm when I try to open the door.

I love their take-home spinach and feta frozen waffles, and their spicy salami sandwich. My brother can’t get enough of the Belgian way waffle—so delicious. Perfect for dining in or taking home a treat!

Had a chicken sandwich and a fruit waffle with my friend. We really liked the sandwich. The only thing is that the waffle wasn't medi ocre. I was there to have the waffle but preferred the sandwich. Overall, It was fine though. I will come back!

A hidden gem. Seriously one of the best bakeries in town. We get their pies for the holidays, my favourite is apple custard. The waffles are delicious too. Do yourself a favour and go here!
