Okay, I almost never write reviews, but I have to write this one. I live a block and a half away from this place but I have never been there before, mainly because I never walk down davie.
Today, my wife said she wanted to buy some Brazilian condiments, so we searched on google and found a place that sells it. While I was waiting my wife outside the store, a guy came to set the sign of the restaurant. I took a look, checked on google and said “why not”. Told my wife I wanted to try this place for diner. So we went there, saw the menu and ordered a dish to go.
While I was there I watched the same guy from the sign making my food, it was awesome. He is amazing! He talked to us and he was so friendly! At the end he asked if it was our first time there and said that he hoped we would like the food.
We did, it’s amazing, we will be back to try different items in the menu every week!!! Always amazing to go to places where people work happy.

I ordered from Twins twice. Seems a very nice family working there. Twice ate sweet & sour pork, once beef chowmein, and beef rice noodles. Pork was ok first time, second time very chewy, not much pineapple, chowmein was so so very pale and rice noodles with beef flavourless.... def not the best place for chinese food.

We ordered from here last night. It was absolutely awful- worse than any mall food outlet. The Chicken with Cashew was the worst Chinese dish ever and in no way resembled what the dish should be- we have ordered it hundreds of times. My partner was sick in the middle of the night. Both of us have tummy aches today Avoid at all costs and don’t believe the good reviews.

I've never been disappointed every time I order from Twins. A Dinner for Four is enough food to feed 6! They are prompt with pick-up and everything is absolutely delicious! My family and I are repeat customers!

Our go-to spot for Chinese take out! Twins is a phenomenal, unassuming restaurant. The owners are genuine and lovely people who always take care to remember their regulars. The food is delicious, well priced and consistent.

Restaurantji Recommends
For me is a hidden gem, they prepare the food at the moment to make a huge difference and we love the flavour and how the food smells, 100% recommend and it will be my favourite place now for Chinese food.

The Chinese food at Twins Chinese Kitchen is top notch. I come here often. The cook Peter does a good job at making dinners.
It was nice to celebrate the twins's (Hayley and Lewis) 5th birthday here today, June 11, 2025. I said Happy Birthday to them.

The best Chinese food in the West End. The chef made my order fresh and the two topping meal portion was very generous.
