This place has the feeling of a small family run restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and fast. Our family of 6 was served and fed in under 30 minutes . We did their family special dinner for 5 .The food was brought out immediately from the kitchen as soon as it was ready. It was great to have a steady flow of new dishes to try, and it allowed us to be a little early to our next appointment.Street parking was the only challenge.Parking: Street parking only.

This is by far the best Chinese food I’ve had since trying a majority of the Chinese take out places in Vancouver. The flavours are superb, the portions are huge and the prices just top it off.Couldn’t recommend more highly and please go in for their Lunch specials- to die for! It’s a small family owned business and their attention to detail and customer service will NOT leave you disappointed.Do yourself a favour and try it. 10/10

Couldn’t even get them to understand our order and we don’t speak Chinese so we just cancelled our order for 4 Combo’s. Absolutely ridiculous answering the phone when you barely speak English. Anyone else have a good Chinese Place Close to Davie St. Or in the Westend ?

Lovely little place. Can dine inn or take out as it has 5-6 tables jnside. Got given Chinese tea on entry by a lovely couple. They cook your meals infront of u so it’s all visible. Food came out at a decent rate and prices are good for quality.Must say the portions are rather big so one rice can probably feed 3-4 people. Would recommend.

Really awesome food. The place is tucked away, and the entrance is in between the other shops. The chef is very friendly and customized the dish. Really fresh, simple and awesome. Portions were probably one of the largest I have seen.Do not let the location deter you. Will highly recommend and definitely coming back the next time I am here.

True definition of a family run restaurant, and dad knows what he's doing with that wok. Had Shanghai noodles, green beans and beef in black bean sauce, szechuan green beans, and spicy tofu - everything was fantastic. The tofu was perfect and the wok hei was fantastic on everything coming out of the wok. Will be back soon.

Got some takeout - Fried Beef Noodle and Prawn & Vegetable Chow Mein crispy HK style. The beef noodles were exactly like this dish is supposed to taste: dark delicious slight charred noodles with a generous amount of beef. Chow Mein with flavourful sauce and lots of crisp shrimp and veggies. This was supposed to be an after club treat when we get home later but my wife and I dug in as it was impossible to resist.

A friendly family run restaurant... fresh food and reasonable price. Great variety of choices. Alan, the chef, does a good job. Thanks to my office event, we found a nice hidden restaurant in Vancouver.

Was hungry for Chinese takeout and came upon this restaurant after doing a Google search around my hotel. After reading the online reviews I had some reservations, but decided to give it a try.The chef/owner and his wife were very friendly, asked me what I was hungry for and for how many people. I decided to order the most basic - Stir-fried Beef Chow Fun and Wonton Soup. I figured - these are so basic and should be a good barometer of the quality. After about 10 minutes I walked out with my order and was on my way back to my hotel. The food was great! The chow fun were intact - not broken into small pieces like some of the lesser-skilled takeout places. There was ample tender pieces of beef and the “wok hey” (slightly charred taste from the high heat of the stove) was just right. The wonton soup was flavorful and not heavily seasoned - the wontons weren’t the traditional HK-Style ones, but closer to the wontons from Taiwan and other parts of China. I had a small order of the wonton soup and there were 8-9 pieces of wonton, each generously filled with minced pork and a shrimp. The filling was lightly seasoned and not over-powering, which is fantastic for those who are not into the traditional more fishy-tasting HK style wontons. What impressed me was the small attention to detail. To prevent the soup spilling during transport, they had covered the soup bowl with clear wrap before putting on the lid. I’ve had many takeouts / food deliveries and this is very rare.Overall a great little gem that’s a bit hidden away. Good food and I will definitely be returning - always great to support small businesses like this.

I ordered food from this Restaurant just after the new owner started and I was a little upset to find it changed over hands as being from Hong Kong I do not like Canadian/Chinese food and the other owner cooked real Chinese food but this new chef sent me home with some very delicious food so I was very happy.I am happy to find he is still an efficient chef as there were 3 customers all at once and he had us all walk out within 6 minutes of ordering. The food still is high quality generousI servings you can taste the freshness in his cooking so I really recommend if in area to give this Restaurant a try.The chef as busy as he was still took the time to thank us as we walked out.I travel in from White Rock to work occasionally and I would not travel home without his food it is such a treat.
