Soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside this small Bordeaux cake flavored with rum and vanilla is eaten at any time of the day.
Chocolate almond croissant
Croissant filled with chocolate logs, smothered with flaked almonds, then baked.
L'escargot Aux Raisins (raisin danish)
This delicious raisin pastry is a variation on a croissant dough, spread with vanilla custard and plump raisins, sliced, proved, and baked.
Tarte au sucre
A quick glance at the cradle of PAUL, the sugar pie is a specialty of the North. Essential brioche disc covered with butter, eggs and sugar, all caramelized and melted, mixed with raspberries. A real delight for gourmets.
Amandine (almond tart)
Almond tart is a very simple recipe. The shortcrust pastry is very slightly sweet, made with good butter, a little crumbly and melting. The delicate crunch of the slivered almonds enhances the whole to make this pastry a real delight!

Recently visited for the first time. We walked by in the evening when we were still full, but were impressed with the ambiance and the fancy desserts. Came back the next morning. Overall I would say for ambiance and presentation, impressive. Actual taste however leaves something to be desired. We got a peppermint mocha which was fairly tasty, a little rich but not bad. Also ordered the cotton candy iced mocha which looked NOTHING like advertised and had virtually no taste other...

Omg. I see why the place is always packed at all times of the day. The peppermint mocha...yum! And the desserts...are you kidding me?! The decor is also magazine worthy. Only gripe was the wait. It was long. And maybe it's because the poor staff is so busy, they didn't make any eye contact and were just all business, no smiles. Can't blame them really. They weren't rude at all. Just clearly stressed.

Paul is a global brand, and it’s great to see it in Vancouver! Especially when you’re craving the authentic taste of French pastries.
I particularly love their Eggs Benedict — would be amazing if they could serve it inside a croissant 🥐😄
