Stand outs - cured tuna, pintxo, tartar, gildas, tortilla

Wow This place is great, everything was amazing. Seems underrated and it is a crime! I unfortunately didn't take a lot of photos just because it is a European vibe where you don't want to pick up your phone.

I went for Father's Day but I will definitely be going for a date night.

I had jamón ibérico and I don’t know what happened they cut it so thick that could not savour it properly and then it was soaked in olive oil… we ordered the scallops but got the olives by mistake, I feel the server needs to confirm what we are ordering otherwise don’t charge for your mistakes, specially when they name the dishes that way. There were some very loud noises coming from upper level, overall not the best experience.

Come here for Justin's pop up on Tuesday and Wednesdays for one of the best menus in the city. You will have dishes here that you could never have anywhere else, and he is constantly working to improve them. Highlights for me from a recent visit include a sunflower seed miso soup, koshihikari rice, endive salad, pork jowl that was insanely crispy, and a sablefish collar that was one of his best. I'd recommend the 12 course option, but ordering a la carte or the 7 course is also reasonable - just get your butt in a seat and indulge.

Great first time experience here
Came for happy hour and sampled some of the offerings. Everything was super fresh and tasty. Great drinks and service.

The vanguard of tapas, exquisite tastes, and fine dining on The Drive. The changing menu is delicious & always on point. The service is excellent. And we love their surprises- like the pop up guest chef evenings with amazing offerings and unique treats… like this menu from last week. Absolutely wonderful!

I came to the restaurant with a friend with just one drink. I waited without any welcome or anything from the only staff at the moment (Asian bartender), I interrupted the conversation he was having with a group of customers at the bar to ask if I can seat anywhere, he replied with “What’s up? … I don’t think so”. Everyone just started laughing???
I worked in the industry and I haven’t felt the need of telling anyone anything similar to this.

Nice dining experience here, good vibes. The small tapas based menu was good .the fresh Jamon was great and patatas bravas. Pastel de Nata could been better but thats al. Decent wine selection and cocktails.

A Complete Disaster – Save Your Money and Go Elsewhere

I have no idea what possessed me to try this restaurant—maybe it was the aesthetics, the bar setup, or just curiosity—but stepping in was my first mistake. The experience went downhill fast.

We ordered several dishes, and to our disappointment, most of them were cold, unimpressive, and even tasted like canned food. The so-called "house tuna" felt pre-made and lacked any freshness. There was no standout main course, nothing remotely memorable about the food.

Then there was the cocktail bar—what a joke. It felt like the drinks were mixed by someone who had never bartended before, completely lacking in presentation, technique, or balance. I’ve made better cocktails at home with a few dollars worth of ingredients.

The worst part? Two people spent $100 on this mess of a meal, only to leave and find another restaurant because we were still hungry. Vancouver’s restaurant scene may be struggling, but I truly don’t understand how this place manages to stay open in such a competitive dining market. Do yourself a favor—skip it.

Interesting way to handle feedback—accusing customers of writing fake reviews instead of addressing the real issue. Just to clarify, I’ve only been here once, and trust me, there won’t be a second time. Your tuna salad was borderline inedible, and your bartender could definitely use some improvement. With an attitude like yours, I doubt you’ll have many returning customers anyway. Wishing your business the future it deserves.

Super cute and charming spot. The drinks were solid, and the vibe was cozy, but it does get pretty smoky inside. They could really use some better ventilation or an exhaust system—otherwise, you’ll leave smelling like food.

Went on Valentine’s Day for their set menu.. so my review of the food may not be valid for their regular menu.. however the food was lackluster, small portions (expected) took a verrrrrrrry long time to be served (2 appetizer type items deleivered to our table after 90 minutes at restaurant) . On the other hand the cocktails were great and the service was fantastic . Def willing to try them again on a regular night..

Came here to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my partner. We made reservation for 7:00 pm, but weren’t seated till 7:35 pm because they were behind. Granted we arrived at 7:10, it was still a 25-minute wait… While they were apologetic and offered us complementary sparkling wine, the wait time was absurd with reservation.

Food was below average. The fish was overcooked and dry, pasta was bland with only 3 small clams, the cherry dressing on the dessert tasted like medicine. The only decent food were the beet tart and the salad. The portions were also shockingly small, we both left hungry and unsatisfied.

Although we understood the inflated price for Valentine’s Day, (it was $200 with a compulsory 20% tip that we pre-paid during reservation) the quality and portion of food truly weren’t worth it at all.

We are disappointed with our experience.

The menu offered very few choices and was overpriced. I anticipated something exceptional given the limited options and the price, but the dishes were very basic and unremarkable.

Service was great but every course on the chefs selection was either served wth bread or pickled. Some fresh selections in the line-up would have been great. The house white was also very sweet, more like a desert wine, and clashed with the food.
