Very rude staff to delivery drivers no greeting just hand gestures towards food no respect
If this is ur behaviour don’t accept orders on delivery apps
I will get more people to give 1 star if this continues

Have been coming since 2011, still love it. Such comfort food, always great tasting and very consistent.

It's very mid. It reminded me of being on the same level as Kent's Kitchen, which wasn't exactly good. Everything was smothered in sauce to give it taste.

Green Onion Pancake had zero green onions in it. They were thick, fried dough.

Sweet Soy Glazed Chicken small portion and the only thing that tasted decent/was edible.

Spicy Pork & Garlic Stems was no spicy and were drowning in sauce to make the fatty, mushy pork barely edible.

Shanghai Stir-Fried Noodles were meh. No flavor.

Peaceful Potato Rolls didn't come with hoisin sauce as advertised, filling was raw.

None of the food looked anything like the pictures. It came to $100. What a waste of money.

Came for lunch, had ginger beef lunch special for $15 after tax

Mine seemed to have less meat than others'. And rice of served cold. Wasn't full after eating

I would slightly avoid coming back, too many better options

The food is ok. The waitress was particularly enthusiastic towards white people and very cold towards others. The difference was huge. Same price, different services. This is racial discrimination.

Peaceful Restaurant serves food from Northern China, they have been featured on several newspapers, magazines and the food network show diners, drive ins, and dives. They have many different items on their menu, and there is some spice added to several of their dishes. If you want to try another part of Chinese cuisine I would give them a try.

Peaceful restaurant was a recommendation of a Vancouver local during our short stay here. The service was exceptional! We had 11 of us in this quaint place and many entrees. Each that came out our party would say is the best food we have ever tasted! This by far is hands down the most delicious Asian food we have ever had! Please go support this small restaurant, the food and service will have you surprised and delighted!

I heard alot of good experiences from friends and families, even strangers about peaceful restaurant. I've even heard it was on the food network channel as well.

Upon entering we are greeted very quickly, and even though it was busy and full they acknowledged how long the wait will be. Luckily I didn't have to wait too long. Tables and chairs very clean and menus are impressive.

They do in house noodles, a northern chinese style. I love how these northern type chinese places have a see thru window so you can watch them make so many types of noodles. It's not as easy as it looks, it's alot of labor. On the menu I ordered the cold appy to start, the chicken and clear noodle. Wow... That was very nice. Light, refreshing, not heavy, not salty. Then the classic Dan Dan noodles with spicy peanut sauce, your choice of thin or thick noodles. I prefer the thin but I chose the thick because my friend likes the thick noodle. It's a very rich so I suggest sharing. It's delicious.

Remember guys the sauce is underneath sometimes 🤣. Roll your noodles around and man... It looks amazing! Then the spicy and tangy dumplings, also made in-house. Whoa jelly nelly! It's got kick! The dumplings are juicy, the texture of the dumpling skin is lovely. The broth tangy and spicy. My first experience and its real nice. It also cleared up my allergies 😂

Service is prompt on that night. Food delicious. Atmosphere very comforting.
Would I come back again? YES! I saw the beef roll and I wanted to order that award winning dish, unfortunately I was too full... Above all prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this place for noodles no doubt. I can't wait to try the beef roll cause the booth next to us ordered it, and I heard a nice crunch from the lady who was eating 🤤
