They have amazing delicious food here. And the staff are kind and professional. You should definitely eat here.
Recommended by our hotel concierge and he was right hot and sour soup was fantastic. Fried rice was wonderful also Dan, Dan noodles, and the beef roll.
This restaurant has delicious food and it's great to come here during lunch to take advantage of their lunch specials. The food portions are quite large and it's great value for money. Don't come here expecting great service or if you're in a rush though because you will take a while to be served.
They have a pretty extensive menu. We had noodles, tofu and soup dumplings. The tofu was too spicy in case you are not used to it. The noodles were amazing just as the dumplings. Not the friendliest staff.
We read reviews and heard peoples feedback and decided to try out peaceful restaurant. The settings are sparse but the food really is legit. I recommend the beef roll, the Dan Dan noodles, the green beans and of course some soup dumplings and fried dumplings. The helpings are absolutely huge so bring a lot of people so you can try more things or be prepared to take home a lot. This was a really lovely place to try some of Vancouver’s legendary Chinese food before we went to Richmond to really get down on some delicious Chinese food.
Very nice staff and a huge menu. Went with what Guy Fieri had eaten and didn’t go wrong. Peaceful beef rolls for sure are a hit. Nice large portions for sharing. Would come back for sure.
I will start by saying this review is for the Port Coquitlam location (which I can’t seem to find on here) we arrived after a disappointing amount of dumplings at the dumping festival. We were seated and waited a few minutes for a server to arrive. She then let us know they don’t have menu and no QR code to scan. That we had to find the menu on our phones. Not all of us had our phones on us. That was annoying. Then we waited for about 25 minutes for a server to come back. I had to actually raise my hand (sheepishly I may add as this feels rude) to get her attention. She came over about 5 minutes after that and let us know that it would be at minimum a 25 minute wait for food, most likely longer. That was fine. We were already committed. We start to order and the first thing I attempt to order she tells us they are sold out of. So after wasting over a half hour the dish we came for wasn’t available. We left annoyed and hungry. It wasn’t a very peaceful experience. I will also mention the sheer amount of security cameras around the restaurant was insane. You would think the mob eats here on a daily basis. Anyways. That’s all. The food looked great, we will never know.
Good food, large portions. Nice service. We took the soups and it was exactly what we needed. I ask to make mine a little less spicy and they were accommodating. Definitely would dine here again!
I had a Dan Dan soup. They have a very fast service, the place is super clean. The soup is ok. Are not the best, but are goods enough. Also the prices are ok to be a really well located restaurant in downtown. Is a place for a quick lunch.
Ordered the Xiao-Long Bao, Beef Roll, and lunch special Sichuan Pork Belly and Cabbage. The bao was very good, just the right temperature to have as a one bite with the juice inside. The beef rolls didn't disappoint since the last time I've had them (years ago). 2 good signature dishes but 1 fell flat. We were disappointed with the lunch special, the rice was rather hard and dry and felt like it could've been a day old. It would've helped if there was more topping/sauce to coat the rice, but there wasn't. Service was fine, we went in shortly after opening.

We booked a group dinner here for our family last week to welcome them as they’re here for our wedding. We chose this restaurant as it’s the closest to the Church. We were so excited to see everyone and enjoy a meal with them together but our experience got spoiled by the service. The staff were really rude and unwelcoming. Since we already paid for all the food to be served, we expected them to be available for us. When we asked for additional seats or plates, they blatantly said no. It was hard to ask for help because we would get mean looks and always a NO answer. There were some leftovers and our family asked for takeaway boxes. Immediately, they said you have to pay 25cents. Of course we can pay them after but it just felt like they’re there for the money. It honestly didn’t give a good impression of Vancouver for our family. Only plus is that food came on time as agreed. We will never dine in here again.
Mall Chinese is a better experience than this! Server barely said two words, restaurant is not clean, the ginger beef was horrible (hard and chewy like beef jerky) and overall it was just not a nice lunch experience. I’m not one to complain but this was worth warning others about.
I came here wanting to try the lunch menu but it wasn't available (Monday to Friday only). I asked for the Yu-Nan Rice Noodle Soup that was described would be served tableside, however that wasn't available as well. I ended up going for the Xiao-Long bong dumplings and sweet soy ribs. Was glad to have tried the XLB dumplings here, usually it can be a hit or miss when the dough is too thick or too thin that you lose the soup. The ribs were okay, they were a bit more vinegary than I anticipated. I couldn't finish my meal and asked for a takeaway container which was charged at $0.25. As for the service, it was at the bare minimum, there was one server who was particularly warmer than the other but at least it was efficient and quick. I appreciated seeing both the tables and chairs were wiped down after each guest. They have a hard close at 2:45pm for in-dining lunch, which turned a few customers away. Overall, I thought portion size and value was good for downtown, would come back again for the dumplings and other dishes.
The place is neat and clean, which I didn't expect. The food was ok. Not bad.Decent taste and the price.
Great range of Asian cuisine, meals served quickly. Friendly staff. Great for Guests staying nearby at St Regis Hotel.
