Overall good pies and great selection. However not the best experiences for a few reasons: 1. Their online order doesn't actually contain any pies when I ordered, only had other pastries and pies needed to be bought in person, which defeats the point of ordering in advance 2. Service was slow even when ordering in advance, stood at the shop for a good while, in which could have ordered, waited and gotten my order in the same amount of time! 3. Beef rolls were sub par, and did not taste the best.

Decided to try the 🥧 pie’s for the first time today, I picked up on 1-Steak & Mushroom that you see open. And 1- Steak,Cheese & Bacon 🥓 🥧. The steak was tender easy to bite into and the mushrooms were well proportioned the gravy was just right. As for the pie 🥧 pastry it was thick but flaky and the right crunch when biting into it. This was the takeout order and the guy behind the counter was friendly and answered all my questions tonight Nov 3rd. So for tomorrow’s lunch it will be the other pie and I’ll give my review on that as well. So as a first time person trying this place I’ll say give it a whirl the pie’s are good, I’ll be going back

I'm from Australia and I've ordered from Peaked Pies on Doordash under AKW over 100times, The pies have been great but I've noticed recently in the past few months that they've skimped on the ingredients of the pies. I always order the same Chunky Steak and Pepper on doordash but there is hardly any steak in it anymore, only sauce and gravy. I've disected the pie and added a photo. They have changed the name of the pie on doordash to Steak&Pepper but I am extremely dissapointed in the quality especially a restaurant that use to remind me of home. I am so reluctant to order from Peaked Pies again if the quality is like this moving forward.

I was gifted one of this place's meat pies. The taste of the ingredients was fairly high quality and it was clearly nutritious, but we all found it to be in dire need of salt. Perhaps the mashed potatoes or peas that are placed on top are under seasoned and drag the rest of the dish down. Hopefully I can give this another try someday.

I have been ordering your meat pies and sausage rolls for weeks now, if not months, from your Denman location via UberEats.
They have been amazing every single time and one of my favorite meals.
Yesterday on Sept 17, 2025 (corrected, I was much sicker than I believed with multiple pies having bad meat, I had a fever and diarrhea) around 6pm I made my typical order of 5 traditional aussie meat pies. *** They tasted very different. Very bad different. They almost had the taste of dogfood. I cannot describe it any other way.
I'm concerned they were bad or something. I didn't get sick or have any sign of food poisoning.
The quality and taste of these is well known to me and they have always been amazing. Did something change? A new recipe?
I'm at the point when I debating ever ordering another pie again unless there is some reason you can share. They looked exactly the same as previous pies. My wife and I ate two hot as soon as they arrived and saved three. Today, i tried one cold from the fridge and they tasted just as bad.
