We’re currently on holidays at Whistler (from Australia) and it was a delight to have a nice warm pie for lunch. Good Quality food.
I met the life pie. It was really delicious. The staff was really friendly. The store had a cozy atmosphere and felt warm. I was really happy to eat such a delicious pie. I highly recommend it. You have to try it!really good!

Tasty simple food with a twist on presentation. Wide variety of pies even cater for vegetarians plus one vegan option. I had peppered steak mash and gravy with mushy peas, my wife cheese and lentil with mushy peas. Felt like home cooking.
What a great surprise. Aussie meat pies Hans made o site Fantastic meat pie, friendly staff and great environment. Great variety and real value for your dollar..
My son and I were walking down the street exploring Vancouver when we came across ‘Australian pies’ and we instantly remembered eating Australian pies with friends when we visited Sydney many years ago. We had the savory pies (the hopper and a steak bacon and cheese) the pie was light and flaky and the meat fillings very flavorful. It was a perfect three o’clock miss lunch snack — and the pie and a draft beer special was extremely reasonable— recommend and will go again before we leave Vancouver
Recommended by two independent people as we were looking around for somewhere to have a quick lunch. “It’s all in the pastry” according to one and she was right. Absolutely delicious with a special pie and beer deal on offer. Enthusiastic and helpful people running the place.
Great delicious home style pies and exactly what we were after for a quick meal We enjoyed them with Bundaberg ginger beer Highly recommend both of these
I love this Aussie pie place on Denman St. It's a worthy stop when you're craving a fresh, delicious pie. I gravitate towards the savory ones. I like that the savory pies are served with a large scoop of mashed potatoes and peas, hence why they are so tall or peaked. If you order take out, beware that your pie mountain may not be a mountain once you get home, the mashed potatoes and peas are likely to slide off while in the box. The restaurant is quite small, I wish it was a bit bigger to accommodate more people, but the food is good.
Watching an Australian TV series, we were introduced to Lamington cakes. They looked incredible. We Googled "Lamington cakes near us" and found Peaked Pies in Vancouver's West End. We were already visiting the lovely Sun Yat-Sen Garden on this particular day and decided to cruise over to Denman Street to check out Peaked Pies. We got a Lamington cake and a vanilla slice to go. The Lamington cake was amazing--light, moist, chocolatey; perfection in a two-inch cube. The vanilla slice was a total disaster: the pastry was stale and tasteless, the pink glaze on top was flavorless and disgustingly gummy, and the vanilla cream filling was like rubber. How can a bakery hit a home run with one dessert and send you running to the trash with the other? Now that we know what they are, we will try making our own Lamington cakes.
Absolutely fantastic! It was nothing like I expected and we were totally blown away by our first sitting here. First of all the decor was so nice - it was so comfortable and easy on the eyes. Secondly, Rinu gave us the best first impression anyone could ever receive. So kind, helpful and honest - it was a lovely ending to a tiresome day. Our Mochas were perfect - and we don't just mean that, we're being honest when we say Rinu made us two perfect Mochas, and I look forward to our next visit. It will take an entire second review ti praise the delicious pies: we've only tried two and so far everything has been great! (Apple Crumble and the traditional Aussie are two favs)

I was really excited to be able to eat an Aussie pie again. And honestly it was delicious! Prices are good and the pies all look good. The beer was good too. I was only disappointed to have to give a tip when the waitress was so cold and not even smiling. Too bad it's mandatory.
The pies here are so good and so filling we could barely finish ours. Definitely recommend for a quick but heavy lunch spot.
This is a great little cafe serving traditional Aussie grub. Certainly brought back memories of days gone by. Many places imitate but these blokes and sheilas have got it right!!
I got the Steak and Guinness peaked sooo good and homemade tasting hubby got the steak bacon and cheese half peaked without the peas.
Sausage rolls were very good. Pastry and full top stuff Traditional beef pie was good but filling was just average. Not bad but not super tasty. I enjoyed it though
