Very unprofessional customer service. Staff were very dismissive of customers and a few weren’t even wearing uniforms (one was still wearing a varsity backpack), while another employee was drinking a bubble tea while taking orders. After I paid for my drink with pearls, told me that they were sold out of pearls. This has happened on multiple occasions visiting this store, and I will not be returning in the future. I recommend others to get their bubble tea elsewhere.

(Trying everything at ubc #2)On my second journey, I hit up a personal favourite of mine when it comes to boba on campus. My go-to, the taro smoothie, always hits and the taro flavour is on point. Another valid order is lychee+yakult w green tea base, that goes crazy. Sometimes it gets a little hard to drink as the pearls can get stuck in the straw but like that’s not really a deficit to this place. A lil pricy but it is what it is, boba is just like that nowadays. Recommended!7.8/10

Average-tasting milk tea. I'm disappointed that it costs $7 once we add a topping, yet the drink tastes like the store used non-dairy creamer instead of fresh milk (unlike certain chains). At least the barista was friendly, I got my drink in less than three minutes, and the post-it note wall looks great?I'm down for supporting local businesses, but this ain't it chief.
It's highly unprofessional to prioritize friends over actual customers in line. An employee processed six orders for friends who weren't even in the queue right in front of me when he returned from his break. I had to wait 17 minutes just to place my order. Even after my order was taken, they prioritized the friends' orders, causing me to wait a total of 30 minutes for my drink.

We ordered strawberry taro milky smoothie and Taro milk smoothie, both with boba. The strawberry taro milk smoothie was absolutely delicious. Never had that flavour before. The taro milk smoothie was good too.

Pearl Fever is a good spot to get your basic bubble tea flavours. They also have a great reward program, which is why I go there the most when I'm at UBC.With the app/reward program you get a free drink every time you load $40 into the app as well as a free birthday drink. But you also earn points when you spend with your app balance, which can be used to earn MORE free drinks!My favourite drinks here are the honeydew smoothie with lychee jelly (very sweet) and the Japanese roasted tea/milk tea with pearls.
